I appreciate Chris Bashams work rate and commitment to the cause, but after watching the highlights he’s once again at fault for a goal. Looking up in the air with no idea where the ball is or who he’s marking. Why is he undroppable? Attacks coming to a halt because he doesn’t know what to do next with the ball. Are you telling me we can’t do better than him? Appreciate what Chris Wilder has done but at times he baffles me with his persistent picking of players off form that are not up to the standard now required. He’s says he’s not sentimental with players, sorry but Basham is not good enough and needs dropping so that the team can move forward and improve.

We don't have an option there. Unless Jake plays in the middle and Stearman can slot into Bash's position.

Heneghan is the other option but he can't run.

Definitely an area we probably should've looked at in the JTW. One loan out one loan in would have been good there.

Had a good game really for the most part but he has to be 100% focused at all times, slips of concentration from Bash cost us far too often.
