The Blades are running these legends night with ex-players such as Mick Jones.

Just wondered who you see as legends for the Blades?

Or does this term get bandied about too much?

I'd go for....

Jimmy Hagan

Tony Currie

Alan Woodward

Trevor Hockey

Brian Deane

Alan Kelly, defo.

Also Bob Booker. And I'd mebbe go for Tony Agana too.

How would your legendary team line-up though?

The general consensus seems to be Alan Kelly in the net...

Alan Hodgkinson might get more than mention as keeper! England's No. 1 for a time and look at the appearances record for Blades!

Len Badger as right-back no arguments, I think!

Alan Hodgkinson, Eddie Colquohoun, Keith Edwards, TC, Deano, Sir Bob Booker, Alan Kelly, Dane, Woody. The place could be packed with players.

Ah, Laurens Ten Heuvel. What a legend. While we're about it, let's put Frank Talia between the sticks again; see if he can trip over his own bootlaces one more time for good measure ;)

Think id have to say the ones mentioned so far.

The best players i have seen when going to the lane though have to be. Kelly,Whitehouse,Deane,Brown and Jags

I cannot believe it, no one has mentioned the legend that was, is John Gannon!!! Then again, maybe I can begin to remember why.
