Our lack of goals so far this season would normally see a newly promoted team in big trouble but our defence is more than making up for the deficiencies going forward.

It's very rare that you see a team with such a big contrast between offence and defence.

I think there's only us and Newcastle who haven't had two players score a goal in a match so far.



All season I've been thinking about that bizarre season Leeds had in 1996-97 where they only scored 28 goals but amazingly finished 11th.

I think we could end up seeing a similar finish for ourselves by the end season.

But they had the good luck in the cup semi against Chesterfield with the Chesterfield shot a foot over the line not given. And their relegation was self-inflicted.

Strange to compare this season with our first back in the Championship under Wilder, where we seemed to be the complete opposite, both scoring and conceding aplenty.
