Here's a season so far review, 10 games in featuring the first player ever signed by Chris Wilder in his management career:

Cooper...the difference he has made is astounding...Grbic anyone?

Burrows...he turned a problem position (Lowe, Larouci) into a position of strength

I could have put Souttar up for either position but seeing as Cooper and Burrows are signed and here for the long term and Souttar is a loan i think they are more important signings

I think Burrows struggled against Leeds. He looks a cut above the lower end championship sides but he really looked a bit scared on Friday.

Best signing I completely agree - Cooper. He will go on to be a better player than he is now, we've got an absolute steal there. Hopefully his longterm career is with us and we have stability in that position finally.

Best Player - The harsh reality with this one is that everyone is having good games and bad. Hamer has been off it for a few weeks now, O'hare has been poor, Moore's scored one goal. I'll throw a wildcard in there but I think Anel has been really good & consistent throughout. Other than that I'd probably say Souza.

I think our new slab head has been a revelation too.
He's obviously a tank and unstoppable in the air, but he is calm, commanding and leads by example. He has more class on the ball than I expected too.

That said, I'm a huge O'Hare fan as well.
Deserved a like up to the O'Hare but at the end. Seriously Soutter has been brilliant totally agree

Fair, but hang in there.
He'll win us some big points this season.

There is a player in there no doubt just need a bit more from him that said Moore needs to be more central drifting out wide too much for me

Cooper -
Very good signing added a confident assuredness to the defence & will win us some points this season

Souza -
Without a doubt our most improved player & most consistent performer .. will be missed Weds night

I echo others

Signing: Cooper / Souttar.

POTY: Souza.

Will go Cooper on signing as he's on a permanent, but the impact Souttar has made has been incredible.

Hamer's had a lot of telling impacts but hasn't influenced games enough from out wide.
Wilder has to do something else with him to get the most out of him, even if it means Arblaster (still a kid) comes out for a period.

Yep Burrows wasnt at his best v Leeds but then neither was anyone. I dont think the change of formation suited him. What i like about him is hes changed one of our weakest positions into one where we dont have to worry about been skiinned down every week.

You’re judging that on him in this league though. A prime RND wasn’t getting skinned every week in the championship. Neither was Lowe really, he just struggled when we played the better teams in the league & was nowhere near Premiership level. Larrouci isn’t worth talking about & I’m not sure Osborn was a LB more of a utility man.

I really like Burrows, I think he’s been a great signing. I’d just like to see him do it against one of the better teams. Hopefully we’ll see that as the season goes on.

Couldn't single a signing or player out really.
All have been positive, all promise more.
Despite the worries in summer we got things right .
