Who do you want to win?

For me it's fucking obvious we should want Leeds to win, while clearly suffering red cards and injuries, not career ending of course.

We only need to finish top 2, let's try to make, WELL hope, one of the four drift away a bit.

Winning the championship would be nice, but finishing 2nd is hardly a booby prize.

Aslong as we keep the slowly crawling away from 3rd and 4th I'm happy. Even though i never Want leeds to win think best result is either a Leeds win or a draw.

As I said elsewhere...

At this stage of the season in this sort of a scenario I have come to the conclusion that hoping for a result one way or another is a fools errand.

If Sunderland do win, and leeds, as they have a habit of doing, get the jitters, and Sunderland go on a run we could be sat here in 4 weeks with Leeds further behind and Sunderland challenging for the Automatic spots - at that point we may then be hoping the result went t'other way

All we can do is concentrate on beating Luton on Saturday, then whatever the result we are in a better position relative to someone than we are today.

There are already two threads discussing this.

And

But don't let that stop people posting new ones

I’m kind of relaxed with it either way.

Leeds win - pretty much rules out Sunderland threatening the top two.
Draw - As above and we keep Leeds close
Sunderland win. We stay top, but Sunderland continue to lurk.

Maybe a draw would be best and hope Leeds get a red card or something ahead of next week?

Sunlan won’t be as passive as we were at Bellend Road. Leeds are a flat track bully and won’t like someone coming to their place and playing them at their own game. A draw would suit me too.

This thread needs merging

Why are you too lazy to check?

Yes the priority is to finish top 2, we need Sunderland and Burnley to drop points. Very happy for Leeds to win this and knock a bit of stuffing out of a promotion rival.

Logically you want your rivals to drop points.

1st choice: DRAW, so they both drop 2 points.

2nd choice: Head says Leeds win…..heart says Sunderland win.

Can’t lose….i’ll see the positives in what ever score happens.
If Sunderland win I’ll find it hilarious….because it heaps the pressure on them and no doubt their fans will start to panic.

Also if we follow it up by also beating them then it’s so much sweeter as Leeds could be pushed out of the top 2 and we can all sing the classic song “Leeds are fallin apart again”.

I don't like leeds and as it goes don't mind Sunderland but I want leeds to win

Most important result from the game is our management / coaching staff observing a real weakness in the Leeds side that has not yet been noticed.

We then go on to exploit that weakness a week on Monday.

Promotion remains in our hands

Don’t understand why not career ending, they chose to play for dirty weeds

Although all the cliches are out of you can’t win the league in a game etc, for me a draw. Where the promotion race will be decided will be the 5th - 12th April playing Oxford away, Millwall at home and Plymouth away for us the followed by Cardiff at home before the Burnley match. That potential 12 points before Burnley are huge although we have a lot to do ourselves, and have our nearest and dearest to play yet which anything can happen. We do have a run of games where a series of 7 wins aren’t unreasonable to expect from a side going up and that isn’t including the games against Leeds or Wednesday.

100% I want a Leeds win. Pretty much will knock Sunderland out of it. Likewise I’d love Pigs to beat Burnley at Turf Moor next Friday.

Whilst I’d love us to win the title - the priority is top 2 - so the sooner we can shake off Burnley & Sunderland the better.
There is potential without getting too carried away we will be up by the time we play Burnley. Promotion or winning the league at home in the Cardiff match will be nice

Leeds. They are the strongest.

Sunderland we want to fall behind so it goes to a 3 horse race.

Either a draw or Leeds win. First choice is a Leeds win as it means an 8 point gap over Sunderland with 13 games left. That's a significant gap. Draw means we stay level on points with Leeds. First priority is to stay in automatic places and then chase the title

Would prefer a draw, hense both teams drop points, but a makems win would do.
