1: Amazing positivity and confidence (some call it momentum) playing the best football I’ve seen us play in decades, on another planet to style used by Bassett and Warnock, everyone knows their job down to perfection because we play similar tactics and formation every match using the same players.
2: Relentless, treats every match like a cup final, always respects the opposition but always positive going for the win.
Tends to focus more on our strengths instead of worrying about negating the opposition.
3: The secret to SU is we have 11 key players (there are no stand out stars, however if I had to mention 1 player to watch, it’s Mark Duffy), everyone is comfortable on the ball and good at quick passing. Also they work so hard giving 100% and really play as a TEAM.
4: Best footballing side, Brentford by a distance but it was our first match. Most teams have been poor. Worse side Barnsley (they never had a single shot on target) followed by Reading (didnt have a shot until the 75th minute).
Everyone raves about Wolves but when we recently beat them they were also poor and given a bit of a footballing lesson (although they did go down to 10 men).
5: Based on performances then “yes”, we consistently look a really good side and we consistently dominate games.
6: Top 3, we’ve been clearly the best team in our last 10 matches, so us.
Wolves look like they’ll take some stopping and either Villa or Boro.
Bottom 3: Bolton definitely and 2 others, probably Barnsley.
7: Our tactics and style are are no secret it’s the same every match.
We play 3 solid centre backs, 2 tricky attacking full backs, 3 midfielders who can pass for fun and 2 strikers.
It’s not like the old Bassett/ Warnock teams because we can keep good possession playing a fast one touch passing game, also our movement off the ball is excellent. However when out of possession we work really hard, pressing up the pitch to win it back.
8: The game depends on Leeds, who seem to be either really good or really poor.
We are the much more consistent team and always play well and work hard.
If Leeds play their best then it should be a home win. If Leeds put in an average performance then it should be an away win.
We’ve not drawn for 20 matches, so i’ll go for a 1-1 draw, can gaurantee we’ll attack and be entertaining.
