I suppose I should be used to this crap by now but I cannot accept without comment the TV coverage of last night's draw:

"MK Dons, having beaten United, will play Sheffield United"

"The tie of the round is Shrewsbury v Chelsea". No it isn't. The tie of the round is the one THAT INVOLVES YOUR OWN CLUB.

On that note, after Saturdays ribbing following our defeat to Swindon, I had some fun with the piggies on Facebook when I woke at 6am this morning. All good banter, but the first response to me posting a picture of a pint of Carlsberg was “I’m not biting” only for the next three posts to be filled with biting piggies…

Yeah, I got a few on my fb friends, they're proper mardy arses, classic "dish it out n can't take it" pigs...

Was out last night in the pub, they just got tonked 7-0, and when the draw was made they cheered cause were away at mk dons and started laughing at us, cause we drew a league one team, not a premiership club, of course in their eyes we've allready lost.

There'll be picutes of john sheridan with that cup on fb by lunchtime, if not allready, its their comfort blanket..

Cost me the price of 5 cans of 7up (extortionate or what this fizzy piss) and an early start so all my piggie colleagues could have one on their desk when they arrived at work.
I was ecstatic when the 7th went is as I'd just been lamenting the demise of the Bar 6 that used to get a regular outing in years gone by.
