Freeman, Wright, Fleck, Sharp.

Someone will look at Wrights stats and put him in I'd have thought.

I think the 3 mentioned by the OP will be in it. Then there's O'Connell, Wright & Duffy who could stake a claim but I don't think they'll all get in. Maybe 1 of O'Connell and Wright.

Agree that Sharp and Fleck must be nailed on and I would say Freeman has a very strong chance.
If Wright's unbeaten record continues then he must also be in contention, surely?

Other than that I would expect Basham to and Coutts to be on the radar.

Freeman, Fleck and Sharp. Doubt they will put more than 3 in from one team

None of them except Sharp will get in it if we screw it up from here, and quite rightly too. We haven't won anything yet and they players haven't earned the right to call themselves the best in the division yet either. I am loving this season but let's keep our feet on the ground for now.

I don't want to! I like the idea that we're heading for promotion, it's like an irresistible surge, like being sucked along on a tidal wave headed for the Championship, why wouldn't anyone enjoy what's happening?

Here's the League One team, comprised only of players from teams who haven't won anything yet and haven't earned the right to call themselves best in the division:

It's interesting because I can't recall any of our players or manager for that matter winning any monthly awards, so it just goes to show how shit those awards are.

Fleck, Sharp, Freeman and Wright will all be in it, with possibly Basham, Coutts and O'Connell aswell.

In terms of stats Sharp, Fleck for sure. Possibly O'Connell, Freeman and Moore. Would like to think Coutts deserves a place.

Question is how many Blades do you reckon will be in it? Without a doubt Sharp and Fleck must be in there. Any chance of anymore? Will Freemans goals from RWB warrant a place?

Billy Sharp?
Ha! You're having a laugh aren't you?
There's only one striker worthy of such an accolade......

Gary 'the goal-machine' Madiiiiiine

AHHHH HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Just wondering as i was thinking about what happened in the player or the month fiasco re,Billy and OffhisFace.
I thought that was great.
Must have been ultra embarrassing to win that when it was patently obvious to all that the domestic appliance was no where near the standard required :D

Whereas Billy does his taking on the pitch.

They do love to hijack an internet vote the sad truffle hunting shithouses

I know most of us only really watch United games and don't take much notice of others besides when we've got them coming up, but the majority of our players could be argued to be in the team. Sharpy and Fleck are inevitable. Moore has been outstanding in goal, Bash, Wright and O'Connell have all been solid with one of them surely in the TOTS. Coutts has been a totally changed player this season, he's really stepped up to be one of the first players on the teamsheet. Duffy has even put in many brilliant performances for us and has been a major contributor to the lead up to goals. Also, Freeman in my opinion surely has to be at the right back stop in the TOTS.

4-4-2 is usually the formation used for TOTS.

I reckon it would look something like below if selected now;

Keeper - ??

RB - McClaughlin (Fleetwood)
LB - ??
CB - Wheater (Bolton)
CB - Wright (Sheffield United)

RW - Morris (Scunthorpe)
LW - Henderson (Rochdale)
CM - Fleck (Sheffield United)
CM - Coutts (Sheffield United)

ST - Billy Sharp (Sheffield United)
ST - James Vaughan (Bury)

Seems April fools day has come early.

I take particular issue with Wilder missing out on manager of year, and no JOC.
