Might be wrong but I think that it is usually about now that the votes start getting cast for the league teams of the season.

Got me thinking about who of our squad might stand a chance of making the 11. Got to say it was refreshing as last year a convincing argument couldn't have been made for any one of the side to get close.

- Fleck or Coutts should be a shout for one of the midfield slots
- Sharpy will hopefully end up as top scorer in the league.
- Freeman has been outstanding at right back
- We've got one of the best defences in the league too - although admittedly all of the back 3 have had a couple of dodgy periods.

Who else has impressed for the opposition this season?? - Matty Taylor / Morris at Scunny / Maddison and Ball have looked decent. Bolton have hardly conceded any goals this year so some of those lads must be in with a shout for defence.

I agree with Freeman and Sharp, I hope they make it into the team of the season.

I disagree about having one of the best defences though, there are seven other teams that have conceded less than us including Oldham in the relegation zone.

Taylor is in the league above now at brizzle city so wont be involved.

Sharp unpfront
Fleck in middle
Freeman right back
Duffy could also easily make it
Moore could be in with a shout
Morris will be in there
Bolton have a good defense so perhaps beevers and wheeter
Kevin van veer
Marcus maddison

Yeah - keep forgetting we conceded 8 in the last 3 games before yesterday.

Daniels

Freeman Beevers Wallace Meredith

Maddison Vela Fleck Morris

Sharp Vaughan

Possibly Vincelot and Duffy in for Beevers and Maddison.

Agree with most selections....I would probably go for on what I have seen as below...even give you a second team

Etheridge (Walsall)

Freeman (SUFC), Beevers (Bolton), Webster (Millwall), Meredith (Bradford)

Maddison (Peterborough), Vela (Bolton), Fleck (SUFC), Morris (Scunthorpe)

Sharp (SUFC), Vaughan (Bury)

2nd team (had to shoe horn a couple into midfield):

Daniels (Scunthorpe)

McLaughlin (Fleetwood), Vincelot (Bradford), Wheater (Bolton), Coker (Southend)

Spearing (Bolton), Duffy (SUFC), Dawson (Scunthorpe), Henderson (Rochdale)

Cox (Southend), Gregory (Millwall)

What about player of the year, I thinks it will probably be between Sharp and Morris, goalscorers seem to always get picked for it.

If Fleck and Sharp don't make the team then it's clear anti SUFC bias.

From what I've seen, both against us and on telly as well as some of the rave reviews I expect to see this:

Daniels

Freeman
Beevers
Wallace
Meredith

Duffy
Vela
Fleck
Morris

Sharp
Van Veen

Moore, O'Connell, Lafferty, Coutts, Henderson and Cox could all make it.

Freeman and Sharp will definitely be in it. Fleck quite possibly also.

Freeman, Billy and any of Fleck, Duffy and Coutts could get in.

Johnson, Morrison, Leonard, O'Hillson, Farthington, Wallaceton, Billington could get in and I just made those names up because I know fuck all about other teams players in this league.

What I want to know is how has some of our fans seen other teams players play every game, to comment on how they can make it in to a team of the year? o_O:)

Jay Spearing is a quality midfielder who deserves to be in the side.

Don't be surprised to see fleetwood players picked, especially if they continue their great form. Steamer in my opinion.

Freeman
Fleck
Duffy
Sharp

Be very surprised if these four are not in. Pretty much everything good we do comes through them.
