Lawro plays it safe with a one all whilst the actors go all gung ho.

At least he's given up on his witty always predict them to lose now that we have!

I actually think Lawro may be right on this one. Alternatively by tomorrow morning this post may show that I am a complete Know nowt!
 



Arsenal v Sheff Utd (GMT 15:00)

After VAR thwarted my prediction last week, I can‘t see this being a close game.

Having watched them both closely recently Arsenal are starting to look the real thing to me now. Having bossed Leeds all game and dominating with 10 men at Palace I can see Arsenal giving the Blades a thrashing, their wonderful tiki-taka in defence ending up beautifully in the middle of the park with darting runs being made by forwards I’ve never heard of driven on by one of their own in the magnificent Mikel Arteta. Blades are still crap and do not belong in this league.

I always find his predictions go along the line of “The plucky Blades continue to impress and have been a pleasure to watch at times. However because I’m a cunt I just see that arsenal have been in the Prem for longer they’ll win.”

Aah, you see the BBC never print the full version.They edit it. So the full version includes words along your lines but then ...’ all in all, I am now finding it hard to keep up this pretence any longer, my own belief is that the Blades have hoodwinked the football world for too long now. They are, and have always been, crap and do not belong in this league.
 
For just about the first time this season he's predicted a number of "unusual" results instead of just going for Big Six Win Again (Even Though They're Not Really The Big Six Any More), maybe someone upstairs has instructed him to be less boring.

Sheffield United got a good win over West Ham last week, while Arsenal drew at Crystal Palace.

The Gunners will be without suspended striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on Saturday after his red card at Selhurst Park - and it was definitely a red - which is a big blow for them.

We know how good Sheffield United are on the road, and they give everyone a game - full-stop.

The Blades have lost their past two away games, against Manchester City and Liverpool, but they were unlucky to end up empty-handed.

Chris Wilder's side showed against the Hammers that they can get over the line without playing well, which is another reason I'm backing them to spring a bit of a surprise here.

Lawro's prediction: 1-2

Tom's prediction: Mikel Arteta is doing a good job at Arsenal so far. 1-1
 
Lawro predicts we win. Oh dear we‘re bound to lose as he’s been wrong pretty much every time with us. But on the law of averages may be he’s got it right for once. Hope so.

Law of averages say he has to get one right soon.
 
People’s opinions of us do matter. We do seem to get easily offended when other fans are dismissive of the club we all love. But if you’ve every read our views through the prism of other clubs fans forums.......we ain’t very nice to them either.

It's always bin 1:0 to the arsenal, not 2morrow though as the great Brucie bonus used to say, "not in this game"
 
I'm ok with it though these so called experts (idiots) who just keep writing the Blades off. They will never learn until we make Europe.
Nicholas on Sky is right up there a proven expert (idiot).

3-1? Where has that come from tarot cards or tea leaves.
Arsenal average 1.3 goals per game and half of those goals are from Aubameyang but he thinks without him they will score 3 against a team that concedes less than 1 goal per game?
The only time the Blades have conceded 3 goals all season was that 8 minute stretch against Man U.
Blades have only conceded 2 vs Man C and Liverpool all away and the Newcastle game where we all stopped running for offside on the 2nd goal.

How did Arsenal do with the 1st game against the Blades.
Oh yeah a 1-0 win for the Blades and guess what Arsenal's top scorer Aubameyang couldn't score against the Blades. Another clean sheet.
 
Now we have lost Lawro has cracked and stopped predicting the weekly lose. Full draw from him and a musician I have never heard of.

Ian Wright also went for 1 all and low scoring as both teams don't score goals.

0-2 Blades for me. Hoping we can be solid and best a pretty average Palace team.
 
Our bubble might burst today but 19 games without a win int capital, statistically I’m going for a 0-1 with Baldock scoring.
 
Got a good feeling for this one - 0-2 win :). My Deano cup is primed and ready, so fear not fellow Blades !

Haha. I once staggered into a Newcastle night club. Well pissed . There was a dodgy looking guy out the bar with a Village people moustache. In my usual Tourette’s fashion I stated loudly to the rest of our party “ fuck off it’s a gay bar let’s go somewhere else” .Guess who it turned out to be ? Wearing grey slacks and loafers. ML himself looking quite embarrassed . The fun sponge had killed the atmosphere anyway.
 
Never listen to Nicholas' predictions mainly as can't understand a word he says especially on Soccer Saturday, if he's watching our game I have to put subtitles on.
