He never seemed to get it fully together in Belgium. He had an ok spell towards the end.

Not clear he is going to be the answer to any issues we may have in the Premier League to be honest!

I assess him as a decent championship striker. Same level as McBurnie.

He does have a season of 24 goals in the Championship and 15 last season.

I’m not sure Shankland doing it in the Scottish Leagues is easy to evaluate.

He got just 5 goals in 28 in Belgium.

Doing well in the SPL this and last season but aside from Auld firm games, the standard is League One in England.

Much as we dislike them, I’d expect Wednesday to finish top 3 or 4 in Scotland with their current squad!

Based on a discussion in the thread about the Motherwell boss, I made the effort to watch Aberdeen v Dundee U earlier and I'm now watching Motherwell v Hearts.
This one is reminiscent to 2 average to decent Champs sides, like a Bristol C v Boro game or something... the Aberdeen game - I think Pigs would've beat them both

I think he'd be a decent 3rd or 4th option for a mid table PL team, but I can't see him wanting that. Agree that he'd do well in Germany, Netherlands too

He definitely knows how to finish, reminds me a lot of Billy Sharp in some respects.

I think he's a better all round footballer but he's definitely got similar traits to later stage Billy
