The law of large numbers surely dictates the board can pick one manager even through luck who does a good job for us.
Someone on another thread said it best when they said non of the managers picked have been an upgrade on the previous one. Possible exception of Blackwell and Clough who could hardly have been worse than the previous bosses.
Feel for Adkins who was given a pretty thankless tad of clearing a bloated squad and must have expected to be able to bring more players but hopefully someone who knows the club will be able to give us the success we are desperate for.
