Peterboro away will give us all another chance to stand on terracing.

I thought all seater stadiums were a must, but obviously not.

In order, the last 3 times I have stood up to watch United are:

Gillingham 14 March 2001 (lost 4-1)Went on coach. Rooker had arranged a pub stop in Rochester. Nice place - certainly in stark contrast to Gillingham

Fulham 15 April 2000 (lost 4-0)
Ashamed to say I drove for some reason. Parked on Jill Dando's street and left ground very early. Always annoyed me that Fulham coud spend loads of money on players yet not be compelled to spend on all seater.

Oxford 20 September 1997 (won 4-2)
Fabulous day out. We looked a very decent side. Deano was back. Did we get hammered 4-1 at Oxford the following term?

Have there been other standing away ends for league games since Gillingham? Anyone go to Macclesfield, Shrewsbury.

A few years ago at Gretna. Seemed like a great idea, but not so good if you've got a bad back.

Cardiff in 05/06 for me. Remember that copper in Gillingham? "Where's the best place to get a drink?" "a pub". What a wanker

The best place to meet women and get cheap drinks on Friday nights in Worksop.

Tesco.

I thought all seater stadiums were a must, but obviously not.

Terracing is allowed in the bottom two divisions and teams are then given three (I think) seasons to become all seater once they get promoted to the Championship.

Cardiff when we got promoted in 2006 was my most recent, but it must have been a few years since my previous one.

Cardiff with Robson as manager. Novelty soon wore off after a few minutes.

Anyone else t hink it is strange that we have all seater because it is 'so dangerous and life threatening' but it isn't so in the 2 lower divisions? Now either it is dangerous or it is not. Bring back terracing. Bring back atmosphere. Brink back cheap places for less well off people to come and see a game. There`are safe ways to have terracing.

Not sure about the dates on these but would say they have all been in the last 15 years, Portsmouth, Fulham, Macclesfield, Stockport, Gillingham, Sunderland (roker Park) , Shrewsbury, Chesterfield, there are probably more but i can't remember.

did a mini tour of germany last year, lots of terracing going on, £5 a ticket and beer in the stand. I might bloody move there come to think of it!

Same in Denmark. beer, standing and a good atmosphere. Unlessthey play in a European game and then suddenly seats have to be added. All because of a load of drunk scousers forging tickets and getting into a game.

Last time at Burnden Park, Bolton, I was at University so it must have been around 97.

Next time will be Friday night, 1.FC Union Berlin. € 10 a ticket

Terracing is nowhere near as dangerous at a tiny ground like in League Two where the attendances are about 1,000.

Cardiff away, promotion season.

Prior to that I think it was probably Gillingham 01/02 season.

Last and only time watching United:

Cardiff away 05/06.

Last time at any games:

Farsley Celtic 4 Weymouth 2 07/08.
Cambridge 2 Burton 1 Play off game 07/08.

Terracing I've stood on in the league... Stockport (1998.. there was a conga round the stand), Chesterfield, Shrewsbury and Cardiff a few times.

Non-league at Alfreton, Club, Retford... loads.

As for being able to stand and watch the game, we stood at Middlesbrough, Reading, Barnsley and yesterday.

Cardiff for me too in league games.

It's so much better being able to stand, especially away if you've had a long trip. I like how the health and safety nuts moan about it, but everybody stands up at half time and nobody says anything. It's still the same place...

I understand there's some people that need to sit down for various reasons, which is why I believe there should be designated standing areas.
