I never felt thus excited about last seasons team as I do about the one we’ve got now. In comparison

Cooper, he’s having an indifferent season but we all know his quality and all are confident with him in goal. It shows how good he was last season that everyone sticks up for him this season.

Seriki, a season more experienced and very exciting to watch. Choudhury and Gilchrist were never as good as this.

Mee, McGuinness, Tanganga and Bindon from Robinson and Anel may be the biggest upgrade in champ centre half history.

Burrows / McCallum could make a good argument last season better with solid burrows but I like how we have competition now.

Souza was very dramatic and we were so reliant on Hamer. Now we have genuine depth and choice in the midfield and forward areas.

This season we’re much more of a team and less reliant on individuals.

I agree with you, it feels like we can be excited about the team again, but I would say, about 6 weeks ago almost all of us would have been moaning that this was the biggest downgrade... "Mee, McGuinness, Tanganga and Bindon from Robinson and Anel may be the biggest upgrade in champ centre half history."

Seriki has been outstanding past few weeks, but the real challenge to him now is can he do it when things aren't going out way. I believe he can, just we have to see it.

Last season the side had a resilience which whilst not attractive to watch, gave us an edge. This side is doing the opposite, but I still have reservations that if goals don't go in, heads might drop and we then will start seeing goals going in our net.

I am absolutely here for the ride and can't wait to be proven wrong because I believe in them lads.

Tanganga and Anel centre half pairing would’ve been good, I reckon. Look how good Anel was with Souttar next to him.

Wilder ahhht.
Why couldn't he have done this last year?!
- Maybe a good manager has to find the system best suited to the players he inherits and can get.

Souza was the biggest loss from last year. Put him in this team and we steam roller everyone.

I think we are getting slightly carried away with a great spell compared to the consistency of last year.

If we can be as consistent for the next 27 games as we were over the 46 last year we might make the play offs from here.

This current squad has been outstanding the last 4 matches and far more exciting than last season's.
The crux is whether the current squad can maintain the consistency that the last season's squad achieved.

Note. Sorry, but spent too long replying and missed Berkshire Blade's post... which says virtually the same thing.

We've done well recently against some poor teams. Against Stoke we worked really hard and everybody looked like they were loving it. It had shades of Wilder mk1. Hope it lasts.
