Cammack's equalizer against L**ds in Easter Tuesday 1975 after the L**ds players were stunned by a fireworks display that was set off too early in front of the yet to be completed South Stand

Didn't we also get a last minute winner against Oxford either the home game immediately before or after that one?

Might have been BP but I also seem to remember a late one against Plymouth around the same time. Maybe both? My memory is not what it was:rolleyes:

Ndlovu against the dirties? Not at the kop end but thoroughly satisfying.

Another favourite of mine was on Alan Kelly day v Coventry. “HOLDSWORTH HAS SCORED! HOLDSWORTH HAS SCORED!”

Paul Rogers’ late winner v West Ham after being 2-0 down was also a sweet memory.

Sept 1983, we were in div 3 and were losing 2-0 after 90 mins were played before Edwards pulled a goal back and then TK's header
They must have hated us because didn't Edwards score a last minute winner against Wigan the previous season in div 4?

David Frain v Sunderland in 1986 was a personal favourite of mine. He'd only just come on.

To the tune of 'Bless em all'

"David Frain,
David Frain,
Down the wing he does go like a train..."

We couldn't be arsed to make up any more lyrics as we'd sussed how crap he was by then.

Gary Hanson goal into Kop end to beat Liverpool 1-0 .
Playing spurs at home losing 2-0 at half time , drew 2-2 kicking into Kop second half .
John Matthews screamer into net to I think to draw against the mongs from dingle land .
Hodges goal when he fell arse over tit over hoardings .
Porters brace against the scabs int cup .

Whilst i still have very fond memories if the goal u have mentioned (april 1981 i think in season we went down to fourth) if i remember rightly it was a volley from the edge of the box in front of the kop about 10 mins from the end. Didnt think it was a last minute goal. I remember they had absolutely mullered us for 80 or so mins and it was a travesty that it was only 1 nil before JMs special. They looked distraught and i had to pick my young bollox off the floor as they had fallen off as i was laughing at the mongie inbreds so much. Remember the John Matthews...John Matthews..John Matthews (to tune of 'here we go') being belted out by the kop.

Trianos Dellas thunderbolt against Portsmouth in the 98/99 season.

If the net hadn't stopped it I suspect it would have made a hole in the kop.

One of the most powerful strikes I've ever seen at the lane.

Every time this goal is mentioned I search, unsuccessfully, for a video of it.
Been said before that we didn't do an end of season review that year so not sure it will ever be found.

Beattie free-kick v The Pigs.
0-2 to 2-2.

That good it counted as two!

That's the third time we've scored last minute goals against Bury that I remember. Other two (Edwards and Deane) were almost in the same spot at Gigg Lane though.
You have to feel sorry for them after that last night though . . . . . and then you remember they gave us Fat Cunt Robinson and you think fuck 'em.

I remember vaguely a last minute winner v Oldham who had wasted time from about the third minute many moons ago that I quite enjoyed.
Absolute favourite remains Kat at Wolves, with 10 men, a minute after they'd equalised from as dodgy a penalty as you could wish to see given. Desperation to falling over seats elation in double quick time.

The ball moved so quickly in flight that the cameras failed to catch it.

Phillis Kirk away at Barnsley in t'cup. Or were't in t'league? Anyway 2-1. Ah were on t'side terrace theer.

Hendo at Bristol City.

The late Bobby Campbell at the Kop End against some useless fuckers or other (cue Silent Blade). That one really was last minute.

I seam to remember "The Chief" being involved in a few but can't remember who against

I knew you wouldn't let me down.

The Barnsley game, I'm pretty sure, was a midweek night fixture?

Campbell's goal - he ran on to what seemed a hopeless punt. Goalie charged out. Bobby got to the bouncing ball just before him and nodded it over his head into the unguarded goal. It bounced gently and inevitably in. Two or three seconds of joyful anticipation as it travelled.

People sometimes forget that Keith Edwards had other partners besides the greats Bob Hatton and Colin Morris. He and Campbell were a formidable, though short lived pairing. Mel Eves was another. Speaking of late goals, Mel got a cracker against dirty Leeds. Frain got the other in a 2-1 and that was a cracker as well - both towards the Kop...

.
Yes. Steve Agnew scored from a free kick for Barnsley in the 1st half. In the second half Morris levelled the scoring with a penalty after Richard Cadette was tripped
