The best feeling in football. Just when you have given up hope, a Blades player pops up to grab a last minute winner and dives into the Kop to celebrate! The last one I remember was Jamie Murphy's wondergoal to beat Gillingham 2-1 after we had dominated all game.

Remember Kenworthy getting a winner at the Kop end in division 4 in about the 7th minute of injury time against a promotion rival (wigan?) when 7 mins of injury time was very rare. U used to get about 2 mins max and it was at the refs discretion so no one knew when he was about to blow for time so all added to the drama. Anyway the header from TK...a thumping header from a corner that sent the kop into raptures and no one was gunna keep out. Top Blade was/is Tony Kenworthy.

Sept 1983, we were in div 3 and were losing 2-0 after 90 mins were played before Edwards pulled a goal back and then TK's header

I remember one of Bassett's first games at home to Barnsley. We had wasted so many chances, including Hetherstone, who must have hit the woodwork more than any other player. I think he got the winner.

Cheers guys. Wasn't Bryson the most under-rated player during these years when Deane and Agana took the limelight (and deservedly so)? He set up and scored countless goals. Always remember the goal v Sunderland at Roker Park, ok not last minute or in front of the Kop but how important was that...

Yes still remember Edwards goal against Wigan in Div 4. Over 20,000 there. Matthews hit a great pass inside the Wigan left back for Morris to run onto. His cross to edge of 6 yard box and Keith first time into back of net. At the time I think we were top and Wigan were second or was it opposite way round? Have I remembered this right?

Unsworth's against Hull, Jags against Boro and Edwards at home to Wigan and away at Bury spring immediately to mind

I felt last minutes winner had the same euphoria/relief as the unsworth goal. Almost as if the whole ground believed we can finally do this year.

You're spot on, in today's statistical wonderland he would have been the assist master king.

I was so pleased for him when he scored that wonder goal at Forest when we won 5-2; eventually he won the fans over although I still think his penalty against Southampton is in orbit somewhere (why didn't BB take that for the hat trick?).

In 2003 against Leeds.

Not once, but twice in the last minute, wrong end though!
