How many to win the league?
Hope this helps to keep you occupied :)
An average of 88 points for automatic promotion.

Yes I'm that bored cos she's watching some shit on the Tele.

Last 10 seasons is a bit random. How about the average since they started 3 points for a win?

How many times have we utterly fucked up over the last 10 seasons.

Let's start with blowing a nine (?) point safety cushion and getting relegated from the PL.

Then, basically, apart from one mid-table season under Blackwell I think, we've fucked up in every season since, Failed in the Play Offs what, 4 times. Five? Failed even to make the Play Offs under Adkins and Weir / Clough. Fucked up every final we've been in. Appointed three fuckwits as managers, and that's if you don't include Adams. Fucked up Ched's release. What else....?

I rest my case. Thank you.

Why wouldn't you include Adams?

Don't want to go over old ground as its been debated before but briefly, he inherited a shit squad and wasn't given the money to rebuild Doubt we'd still be in L1 today if we'd kept him on and backed him. He know the lower leagues inside out. OK many didn't like his style of football but given a fair crack he could well have got us back up at the first or second attempt.

Speed had a lot to blame for our relegation imo

Liked Speed but he fucked us royally.

I agree Speed knew we were on a downward spiral and was fortunate to be offered the escape route. I disagree Adams wasn't backed though, he brought in an entirely new team near enough. He was just out of his depth.

It shows what a mess we were in when he took over. He was out of his depth in a league that he'd previously won promotion from.

I can understand sacking him (although I wouldn't have, I also think he'd have got us back up in fewer than six seasons) but sacking him and replacing him with a manager who epitomises 'mediocre' was a joke.

We didn't go up with 90 points and a +41 goal difference in 2012.

With out luck we'll probably need 94 this year so I'll be taking nothing for granted until we're 4 points clear and the oppos only have 1 game to play.
no . no ones winning that many or look likrely too
the champions will get 86 to 91 points this season second 84 to 89

based on previous years points at this stage
charlton had 67 points after 29 games
we are 5 points clear on 63 after 30
that year was exceptional as the bottom clubs were all poor and didnt get many points

Yep, and it's fair to say that us and the Pigs also gee'd each other on in the final quarter towards those high points, but I still won't be confident until we're 100% home and hosed.

They also struck gold loaning Antonio in, even then way above third tier.
