I don't get the angst towards Moore. OK, he's made a few mistakes, name me a GK who doesn't. I also don't recall him costing us a game as Blackman did when he went arse over tit and nearly lamed himself. And lets not forget the pigs game at the Lane where he prevented the pigs 0-0 win becoming a real win with the best save I've seen this season.

I think he’s a decent player and is much maligned. His stats stand up to scrutiny against the better LWBs in the division. BladesPod did a decent analysis of this which is worth a listen.

We do need competition in that position, but for me he’s capable of being a really good performer (see his first 3-4 months). I also think the intensity of the role and the step up from League 2 has perhaps caught up with him. With another summer of coaching I think he could get back to performing at a very high level.

Put it this way, in terms of summer recruits another LWB is about 4th or 5th in my list of priorities.

Bladespod analysed one stat - number of crosses put in - and claimed that this probably made him one of the top 5 wing backs in the division in terms of attacking ability. This was extreme cherry picking. I enjoy the podcast and find it enlightening but that was not one of its finest moments.
