Some reflections....

We lack dynamism in the final third. We seem to not do as many overloads/crosses but we don't have a plan B on what else to do to look threatening. Fulham had some trickery at times which we don't yet still looked threatening from a cross.

For all Norwood gives in his passing ability he is woeful at defending, is slow and lightweight and doesn't prevent counter attacks.

Far too many chances given to Fulham which last season didn't seem to happen.

Enda Stevens looks like he's had 8pints of Guinness before every game since lockdown and needs to shed a stone. Shame for Lowe going off.

Overall and perhaps unsurprisingly there's some confidence lacking.

Berge looked decent times today but like Norwood doesn't prevent the counter.

Not much else went on. Great pen by Billy.

We normally hold back 1st half.....as though we’re saving our energy for the 2nd half.

We were up for it 1st half and looked the better team creating several chances. Fulham looked poor, no ambition just aiming for a 0-0.
Maybe the 1st half was too easy but Fulham were comfortably the better team in the 2nd half. Think overall they just about deserved 3 points.
So in the circumstances you have to be content with 1 point.

Lets not forget there’s plenty of time left in the season....nothing to worry about.....yet.

I agree with you that we had chances we didn't take. My point is that when we play a side who can nullify our system, we don't have any flair players with that pace and technical quality that can suddenly come up with something. Maybe Brewster will bring that, but it's early days yet.

But weren’t, because the striker we spent £20million on couldn’t finish his chances. I don’t like all this “could have, should have”. Fact is, they weren’t and that they weren’t was down to our inability to put them to the sword.

I do like McBurnie, but he really needs to start taking the chances that come his way to justify the fee. Maupay, who cost the same as him, looks every part the Premier League striker. Oli, unfortunately, doesn’t.

You make us sound like a hybrid of AFC Wimbledon and Tony pullis's stoke we went through league one ,championship and 9th in the prem playing good football and outclassing teams full of flair players with pace and technical quality who can suddenly come up with something but we stopped them

We are having a rough patch ,confidence is low and things aren't going our way but if we had tried to do things by filling the team with flair players with pace and technical ability who can suddenly come up with something we wouldn't have got very far because we were fucking skint and everyone else had the same idea and the ones with the most money get the best ones

We just had to get by being well coached and tactically innovative with a system that got the best out of our players but according to you we should fuck that off and try the same approach as everyone else where the most money gets you the best players

We worked our way up to the top flight by having a good system that could steamroll inferior opposition in League One and the Championship. Granted we did well in our first season back in the top flight, but I think a lot of that was due to being an unknown quantity with a unique system. We're now a year on and teams are wise about how to set up against us, and they all stick four players in a sqaure around the corner of the box. It's fairly easy to see and we also don't score those goals which come from cut backs near the byline like we used to.

We haven't added any creative threat or flair going forwards and are now being nullified as a result. I'm not saying we should chuck the system out of the window, but we needed an addition or two in certain areas to improve us in terms of creating chances.

I think were missing the threat of Burke as an out ball, I noticed Arsenal suddenly came to life and scored two goal after he went off in that game, and I don't think Fulham would have been so adventures second half with him on the pitch.
