Lack of overlap on the left

Today second half Enda didn't get forward and Jack was nowhere to be seen. What was the reason?

First half was the opposite, all of our play went down our left and all of their danger came down our right.

We used the right much more because they were really weak down that side. Second half we should’ve attacked the left more

Not really the case - Baldock was played in twice by superb passes - just didn’t use them. Wilder’s post match comments made the point to him as to what Kyle W would have done with those balls. Tactically, S’oton switched it up second half, matched our formation and kept Bash and Jack busy and they were never able to get forward. Surprised more teams haven’t figured this out as the way to try and stop us. And the only way we will be able to react if we can’t overload as much as usual is to consistently play a 10 with Duffy (oops, sorry, he’s gone - imho the only mistake CW has made in the last 3 years..), so Freeman, so we have a different platform to attack from

Take your point but we I can’t remember us building and overloading down the right more than once in the first half.

The passes from Norwood created the only meaningful attacks we had.

Conversely, on the left we built and played around them numerous times.

Is it because we changed formation to a 4-3-3?
Bash came off, Enda dropped back with Baldock, Mousset, Robbo n Sharp up top, but we should've been a goal up by then anyway.
