Part of a Spurs side who have been absolutely outstanding tonight.

It is nice to see a player who learned his trade at the Lane playing as part of a side who are doing so well in the Premiership.

I couldn't fault the classy way and the dignity that the Spurs fans acted with last season at the Lane, and Dele Ali is a superstar in the making. I for one wouldn't be disappointed to see them win the League this year

Only common denominator Spurs have with us is that Walker is a blade . Besides that I couldn't care a flying fuck about Spurs , Leicester or the demise of Villa,

All I am bothered about is Sheffield United Football Club and getting out of league 1.

I am starting to favour them winning it more than Leicester now.

They are the best side in the league to watch, they are so well drilled and work so well as a unit it's a joy to watch. And with a core of English players too, 5 of their regular starting 11 are English, which is so rare for elite clubs nowadays.
 
He went to same school with my cousin at high Storrs school in Sheffield she was in year below him

I seem to remember there were a couple of their fans on here before and after we played them and they were ok.

I hope Spurs (as much as I am interested in any Premiership team) win it. I don't go for the "underdogs sticking it to the biggest teams in the division" bollox. Spurs playing the more entertaining football and have Kane, rather than some foul mouthed, diving Pig scoring for them.

Just saying...
 
Couldn't give a rats arse about anyone other than Sheffield United to be completely honest. And the fact that we are having yet another terrible season simply compounds that mindset.
 
I still hope Leicester do it, any other year if Spurs were chasing down a team at the top (one of the big ones) then I'd want them to do it but it'd be amazing if Leicester won it.

Agree. Young English talent, an excellent manager who has built well and a club that doesn't just bust the bank to get where it is. Proper club and I hope they win the league.

With the Spurs love in , I wonder if the club shop would start selling them double scarves , Blades / Spurs .

Yes Spurs were quality and I do thank them for loaning us all that young talent . Yes they certainly think about us .

Who do we think will win the championship , Brighton are playing nice football.

Most important is the match tonight at Shrewsbury .

Yep, no point talking about anything else. After all there is a football match of which none of us have any control over taking place tonight. I'm struggling to get any work done because it is all that is on my mind right now.

Yes good game and a bit one sided with the Stoke players having swimming trunks and flip flops on ready for the holidays .

Either Spurs or Stan Collymore on talk sport wanting a position in Villa, seems more important than Adkins and us, to some .

Me , I am more bothered about what we do , all other things football are just nice to have . Spurs , Leicester , quite frankly who is bothered unless you support them or have had a bet.

Most important game is ours tonight , as discussed on a blades forum.

I am more bothered about us oddly enough. It's not a bigger blade competition but I so gave room in my head for more than one discussion at a time.

What we do tonight is what it is. I have no control over it so I will listen and see the outcome. You won't see me going off on one if we lose and I won't be cracking out the champers if we win. Be interesting to see if we can follow up Saturdays performance and keep the new found hope burning.
 
I like the way Sours play, I like how they are bringing through some great young English talent (not all as homegrown as the press would have us believe though).

My one gripe is with their fans. Mainly that I hate them. Growing up in North West London and going to school in North London the vast majority of my mates were Spurs fans. Quite frankly, they're all idiots. Years of moaning about "style of play" and claiming they'd far rather lose every single match as long as they played "attractive football the Spurs way" if the alternative was boring 1-0 wins week in, week out. Moaning about being in the UEFA Cup/Europa League then complaining when they were knocked out because their manager played a weakened side. Oh and when Pochettino was first appointed a load of them moaned he was shit and wanted him sacked.

Not quite as bad as the East London "We Won the World Cup" lot, but still a pretty entitled bunch of twats.
 
Everything about this thread is making me chuckle, probably because I can empathise and sympathise and something else ending in "asise" with just about every point of view whether it's pro-Spurs, pro-Leicester, anti-Spurs, anti-Leicester, anti-everything. The only surprising thing is Barney wasn't anti-Adkins; funnily enough, however, I find myself these days awaiting eagerly old Barneystoneworth's opinion on every thread, which is not to say I agree with them all, if any.

You'd be more gutted if you had taken aguero out, and put martial in because manure had 2 easy home games coming up. I think he came on for the last 15 mins and not certain to start in the next game. F*****g useless at it I am.
