He did last season but he's too old for the U16s this season.

As disappointing as it is, getting a reported 2m+ add-ons for this lad and similar for Lankshear, in two moves we'd probably have little say in if we really dug our heals in, is comforting reading on the value of the Academy.

It's basically paid for the new training pitch, lessened the losses, which in turn has enabled us to keep the entire first team squad intact with depth for the first half of the season.

That's also notwithstanding all the young players who have had minutes or made the bench in the last 18 months.

I've just read that Midwood and Lankshear have gone for combined fees of over £4m + add ons!
If this is true then it's tremendous business by the Blades.

Selling them two for roughly what we paid for Ahmedhodzic I think? Can't remember his fee to precise, either way sounds like good business to me
