Just read a articall online saying Clough has been in talks Kris Commons this week, I can't see this myself unless Stevens does go to Celtic, even tho I do rate Commons as a player would he be the kind of forward we need specialty at the age of 32.

Doubt this is true but if so Commons would be a fantastic signing. He strikes me as the Andy Reid type player.

Still has 2 or 3 years at least left in him. Definitely still Championship quality

Yeah i remember that game - Stoke thugs waving fists in me and Small's face (he was 8 at the time) after our last gasp penalty equaliser. Twats the lot of 'em !

He's been used centrally at Celtic:

Lennon utilised Commons in a central attacking position just behind Anthony Stokes and Leigh Griffiths and the 30-year-old regularly found himself in goalscoring positions.

"We do use the formation to accommodate Kris as best we can," Lennon said.

That's right, I was on a coach that day and we were kept in the car park for about half an hour so the Stoke fans couldn't get at us!

Unfortunately for us, my mate drove and parked the car somewhere where we ended up walking back amongst the Clayheads. We didn't have shirts on but they knew we were blades - they were also actively looking for Blades in cars amongst the built up traffic jam. I hate Stoke.
