Kop needs urgent redevelopment

That logo is obviously a pirate ship and pirates put the arr into carrma, although why anyone would buy a car from self-confessed pirates is a mystery.

If you rotate it 270 degrees anti clockwise and squint, the logo is actually Bettis fixing the cladding on the hotel.

If the Kop needs full development the only sensible option which a few have mentioned ironically is to redevelop the South Stand, due to the car park at the back, there is plenty or room to create that artist impression of a mighty stand behind the South stand connecting it later to reopen with big capacity. The Kop season ticket holders would have to go in this stand/BL upper which would mean a massive increase in capacity for the South Stand before it could be considered. Then the Kop be redeveloped with potential for a South Stand and Kop corner stand. It would be one hell of a project but would need long term investment.

I've looked at that logo about ten times today and I still can't fathom what it's supposed to be.

Looks like someone is about to decapitate a bird of some sort using a figure skate?
Haha! Yes, I thought it was a Pirate Ship at first, but obviously it's a white 'ticket tab, with the front end of a car in it (from the side) pasted inside the tab, with the car door, wheel and wheel arch / front wing showing!'

Progression takes time
Real Madrid built the Bernabeau in 1947 for 400k on the then outskirts of Madrid They have just upgraded it costing 847 m euros

Reopen this thread after we’re an established PL side and need a 35k stadium

**see Darlington’s fantastic stadium - The cost of which caused the club to go into administration three times
That was never viable ..Darlington only ever averaged 3000. We live in a city of 600k people and attract fans from 20 plus miles further out of up to a million. Darlington has 100k and no big areas round it and we historically had gates of 40k plus

We could really do with it like many have said but it ain't happening.

Our owner has limited monies as seen with our transfer budget too.

I mean we can't even get the hotel back up and running. Which is bonkers considering that could be a revenue stream especially back in PL.

I was at a networking event at the Lane on Tuesday evening and was told by someone at the club that work on the hotel starts in the next few weeks.

Do my drinking before and after the game buddy. Been known to have the odd oxo when it gets parky.
spot on the number of fans that pay exorbitant prices inside grounds is unbelievable get to the pubs round the ground cheaper and far better atmospheres
