It's ignorant to split fans into knockers and clappers.
After Coventry there was criticism of our managment picking Kitson and Porter, i.e. two slow target men, up front.
Today the management changed it and I was pleased to see us line up with one quick winger and one quick striker, and I thought our forward line had good balance.
Were those that were happy with Kitson and Porter up front against Coventry disappointed with today's change in tactical approach?

totally misleading , we were on the verge of relegation to div 1 when mccabe took over so he not took us from the prem down , no mention of reaching 4 play offs and a promotion 2 cup semis , all facts but you ignore them as you wallow in negativity, and wilsons record with us win wise is second to none and but for ched getting sent to prison would have been rewarded, how come you dont mention that, our record under mccabe overall is only bettered by the bassett era in the last 40 years

Wilson has only ever managed United in the Pub League - his win ratio is forced to be better than other United managers that competed in Championship and Premier League!
How anyone can defend McCabe is beyond me!

considering weve only had 3 years in the prem that werent relegation years in the last 40 hes not had much in there to compare with
this idea we are some super premier team on hard times is the uttter bolloxks your argument is based on
how can mccabe be blamed for us getting relegated from the prem , ( no credit given for getting us there in the first place I noticed ) when lets face it hed took us somewhere we werent used to being , theres the fact and we were unlucky to get relegated as in all but 1 season since 38 points would have been enough

I thought we were in control for all of the game. We won most of the physical challenges and they barely had a shot.
We were too slow with our passing in the first half(although it looked like Forte should have been given a penalty in the first half and Kitson should have scored with a free header)
I thought Kitson was poor despite his goal and I was wanting Ironside to come on instead of him before he scored....good job I'm not the manager
I thought we penned them in during the 2nd half and we deserved the win.
As I said earlier,the midfield two were excellent but it was good to see the two wide men trying to take the full backs on. Barry Robson had a good 15 minutes when he came on ...doesn't lose the ball and is confident on the ball. I feel he will be vital for us as the season goes on
We weren't great but it was a continuation of the 2nd half against Coventry which I think will be good enough against most in this league.You could see the confidence grow in them when the 2nd went in.

Mega relief, a win a win get first aid!
No the biggest disappointment today were the Pigs getting a draw and the biggest joy was that with other results the win stabilises the situation. Mind at the mo playing Bury will be interesting!
Bring em on. But unless we get into the top two don't expect any joy at the frigging play offs. And just to please those on 'Rose' only another three wins to match the second half of the 79-80 season.
