went to see the local outfit.. Gratkorn FC on friday night. Austrian 3rd (4th??) division game.. was shocked to see them superbly outfitted in high quality Puma kit.. the oppo (who's name i can't remember) wore nice Adidas kit.. this is Austrian division 3
i mentioned this to my Celtic supporting colleague who is acquanted with Glaswegian affairs.. i told him we had poor quality Macron stuff.. he laughed and said 'oh .. i think that is Charles Green.. he tried to get Rangers to change to Macron (failed).. OOOOHHH.. i said

I went along to see a supposedly friendly in Hall`s Head, Mandurah on Saturday between Perth Glory and Melbourne Heart captained, by a certain Harry Kewell. Even their kits looked half decent and the red and white striped Kappa strip of Melbourne was quite nice, compared to ours. They even have an away kit that looks like the old Peru or River Plate Shirt with the red diagonal stripe, which also looks neat. I wore last seasons home shirt and got a few strange looks from the Perth Glory fans as there were no Melbourne fans in sight. It did however remind me of watching a Sunday game at Arbourthorne playing fields, was similar windy conditions too!

Their previous away kit isn't bad either - we should have had something like this instead of the orange stripes:

My son has this seasons kit, and I think it's really good quality. We've had to wash it plenty of times already and it's as new each time, plus it's stitched as opposed for example to the junior England kits from Nike that are transfers stuck on the shirt.

Not sure about the fascination with Puma kit, even setting aside the colours etc the Pigs kits these season are fucking awful. And while Adidas is all well and good, as Brentford have found, getting them to supply on time (even the first team kits) has been a real struggle for a 'smaller' club.
