I remember a couple of years ago Neil Warnock likening Matt Killgannon to a "Rolls-Royce".

"He's playing like we first saw him at Leeds, almost like a Rolls-Royce"

I wonder which cars might be used as a simile to describe the current crop of players we have in our squad today?

Morgan - some sort of armoured vehicle that's seen a few years service out in Iraq

Bromby - looks like a hairdresser, so Mazda MX5

Cotterill - A Robin Reliant: nippy but easy to roll over.

I give you the Squinny car......

Ps..I drove this car in my youth!

:D:D:D

Relish - Some old Yank muscle car - plenty of power but a bit rough around the edges and unsophisticated.

What car would stan collymore pick??? :D

The motorised orange is more suited to Hendrie than Quinny isn't it?

I know we're on about footballers but i've seen a car that aptly describes fat porker Strafford.

Kyle Walker - A company Ferrari on a year lease to be run into the ground.

Jamie Ward - Souped up Golf with tinted windows and chrome exhaust - nippy, can look good but a wee bit too chavvy.

Justin Haber - Fiat Panda - cheap, European and apparantly doesn't handle well.

Morgan - any VW - If only everyting in life was as reliable as........

I don't even want to think what type of car Howard would be.

Howard is a Delorean ,only you've more chance of seeing one of those.

I'll agree on that.

I've only ever seen one.

God's honest, going round Hunter's Bar roundabout, up Brocco Bank. Silver, just like Doc's from BTTF.

And also one against Preston, first leg.

Don't think I'll ever see one again.

There used to be one in Chapeltown - feller ran the computer supplies shop under the bridge. You'll be seeing a couple more around town when I win the lottery - well, you'll be seeing the body, not sure what "real" car I'd put underneath. ;)

Monty - Skoda? Poor reputation in many circles but actually very bloody reliable.
