Does he support them, because there is no way he is going to play for them this season! Absolute bollocks,

Seemingly this has come from one unsubstantiated twitter source so hopefully no legs. But we did have interest in McLoughlin from Fleetwood who scored against us last week.

Elliott Hewitt, another right sided defender, from Notts County has been watched. But that was much earlier in the window and any interest would only be pursued if we lost a first teamer. The loan signing of Riley appeared to put the McLoughlin rumour to bed.

You'd expect him to be catching the eye of championship teams, goal scoring right back/wingback, fairly quick, right age .

Freeman and Fleck are probably the 2 first teamers attracting the most attention

There might be something in this.
According to Porktalk Bristol City have 3 full backs out injured, they are hoping negative Carlos goes for it tonight with Bristol city having no full backs.
Not sure how long they are out for but if it's any length of time they might be interested in Kieron.

Huddersfield interested in shock move for KF

Terriers would pay money or offer Joe Lolley in a swap deal. Seen as perfect cover for skipper Tommy Smith

Unlikely though isn't it?

I would say let him go then, seriously. We've got cover with Baldock and of course Basham can play there if needs be. We could certainly do with younger, faster, strike options. I like Freeman but he's not pulled many trees up in these first few games and he's entirely replaceable in my opinion.

And at the moment we've still got Brayford

I don't think we need to sell in order to buy

And I wouldn't want to take Bash out of the back three when we're already short on cover there with Stearman out.

Brayford can play wingback

I have to disagree with you on your first point. I think we do need to sell to be able to buy. McCabe made reference to the need for us to get greater investment several weeks ago. Wilder has said that he is working with limited funds. There has been no confirmation whatsoever that Wilder is getting a share of the add ins from the sale of Walker - something he said he was going to ask for - he's not said any more about that has he? So I think you can assume the answer is no.

On top of that we have big earners like Brayford on the books and I think a lot is riding on being able to move him on. That will free up a significant amount of wages. I suspect when Brayford goes we will go straight in and seal the deal for Lenihan. I think that's a number one priority for us.

I think any other deals on top of that will most likely be loans.

We've had bids in for a number of players, we've a budget to stick to but we certainly don't have to sell to buy.
