Complete a sudoku? 😄😄😄
Just trying to think of some random thing that might take a long time for a footballer to do given how much time Moore had. I would have said something like Brewster could have broken through, torn his hamstring, rehabbed it and then still scored, but that might have been too close to the truth

So a proven striker who’s been in the game years isn’t good enough.. but a young lad who’s had a brief stint in league two will be? Make it make sense mate.
Proven ? I am not sure his career in the top end of the Championship is that impressive.
Whatever has happened in the past has little current relevance. Tonight he was poor.

You’re on fire.

Remember this was his third game ina week as he featured in both Wales games so he did ok although one or two terrible decisions but he wasn't on his own there. Wilder said it right in his ineterview - we needed more composure in the final third and we would hev been 3 up at HT. We gave away possession too easily at times but we defended reallly well and Cooper looks class. Very calm and composed.

Moore will score goals in this team. He actually played well tonight and was instrumental in the 2nd goal. He's also playing that McBurnie role brilliantly at defensive corners. How many corners did they have tonight? Defended the box brilliantly and Moore was a big part of that.
it was 16 which is crazy number of chances but he does play that role so well and especially now we look better at the back in general we are starting to get that comfort back a slight bit

Hazy memory now but i think people are forgetting a lot of very bad stuff he did tonight.

His cross field pass to brooks that was about 50/60 yards off. He got put through on goal and instead of shooting on his left checked inside and wasted the opportunity. His random shot from 40/50 yards trying to catch the keeper off guard that pea rolled 10 yards wide when instead Brewster could’ve been played in. A comfortable header inside our half on the wide left second where he manage to miss about 3 blades shirts by about 5 yards and give the ball away. Many headers that were launched up to him lacked direction (although IMO thats as much of a tactical fault) A couple of low crosses into the box 1st half he didn’t run infront of his man and was quite idle.

I did see a few good bits also. A nice cushioned chest for mcallum, the weighted pass and control to set up rak saki, the ball for brooks assist, and 1 effort where he did run across the defender after a wide cross to make good contact for a shot (blocked by defender).

So on the balance of things probably a 4-6/10 would be fair IMO.

Shut up…he played well, just because he didn’t score. That was a pure team performance… bye bitch

Id rather have Kieffer Sutherland upfront consider that a 3 at best

Great link up play for the second goal.
Great link up play for the penalty against Watford and generally had a great game.

Needs to get more confident in front of goal.

Nonsense to write him off and say he isn't good enough. He's contributing well.
Probably worth realistically noting too that if all facets of his game were top notch, then he’s not be turning out for Sheffield United in the Championship!

We have to take the rough with the smooth. Got a nosebleed again when put through, but then used his strength and was instrumental in the winner.

Plus with him and Souttar and Anel and Vini, we are very strong aerially defensively.

No point bashing him, he's ours, he's putting a shift in, it'll improve. But we do also need to play to his strengths a bit more, we've got the players to do so.

Needs to hold the ball up/laybthe ball off with his chest rather than his head, needs to strike when near the edge of the box and alone (telegraphs the cut back onto his right foot).

Contributed defensively.

Works hard for 80 minutes though and allows for 3 terriers behind.

Agree, yet still struggling a little bit with set pieces. Definitely an area for improvement.
It's true, but it's still a big improvement on last season. Going in the right direction pretty fast (hopefully).

And that’s what is getting us into winning positions at the moment. We have the players capable to push on and link up further up the pitch when needed. Again tonight he should have scored, was unlucky with the blocked shot and should have dispatched the chance in the first half other that that a decent enough performance

He is certainly snatching at things and lacking composure at the minute but he is an absolute handful for the opposition defence all game and runs his bollocks off. He gives the 3 flair players behind him a great platform to play off. Ask them Hull defenders tonight if they think he's shit and enjoyed playing against him....

He was solid and unspectacular today, we don’t have any options to change it unfortunately.

Bob Hatton took the bruises for Keith Edwards to score.
Shipperley was a beast upfront .
Billy whitehurst was a bruiser who took preasure of deane .
Moore is and will be a blades legend. Our goals have come from midfield and hold up play.

The way he just shunted that Hull player into the advertising hording in the build up to the 2nd goal was his wages validated.

He scores loads at this level, they will come. His link up play is top draw, don't get the criticism.
