Kieffer Moore…

He has a role and a place. It is not in this game

Has certainly been frustrating tonight with poor finishing and decision making but still time to make up for it.

Great link up play for the second goal.
Great link up play for the penalty against Watford and generally had a great game.

Needs to get more confident in front of goal.

Nonsense to write him off and say he isn't good enough. He's contributing well.

Don't get the negativity, he's never going to be prolific but he's doing a proper job for us. Strength, leadership, contributions all over the pitch.

Leading the line pretty well, in my opinion. Runs good lines and getting the likes of O'Hare and Hamer into the game.

Contributes defensively at the other end.

The big shame is that the board didn't back Wilder and bring in another CF or two towards the end of the window.
We had two loan spots left to use and got decent money for Trusty.

We're going to be relying a lot on Moore lads, so you might as well back him.

credit where it’s due, he did actually do well to hold off their player and set up an attack for our second. But his forward runs, decision making and this “Ronaldo chop” bollocks when one on one with the keeper needs to stop. It doesn’t suit him and makes me very frustrated. I hope he does do well and proves me wrong but at the moment I’d still give Marsh a run out. Where never going to know until we try

Impact player, will be a great Mcburnie-esque squad player when we eventually get a more rounded CF in

I may as well bite since we got the win and I think it is a fishing exercise. I don’t understand the “Moore bashing” he might not be in the goals at the moment but does he need to be when he is in the mix breaking up play and setting up chance such as the 2nd goal literally started by Moore. Just his sheer height is enough at Championship level to have at least one defender man marking and pulling out of position. I am really not bothered if he went all season without scoring and we won every game as a comfy 2-0 as you will ever see.

I’m really hoping he’s not another Oli Burke, time will tell I suppose…..

Oddly enough, Burke would have had enough time to break through, complete a sudoku and then score in the time it took Moore to be five yards past the last defender and never get an attempt on goal

Easy to back him when he was excellent.

He was clearly knackered too, after his international games. Needs to be rested a bit more.

Seems to be two things happening.
First he's not showing himself as a natural finisher. Can happen with strikers and when it clicks it clicks. Let's wait and see.
Second, he's sometimes left screaming for some simple balls through that aren't made. This seems easier to fix. Roll it through at let him do his thing.
