Bolton confirm today that he'll be released in the summer. I thought he was 38/39 by now - still *only* 36. Would be ideal at Championship level leading the line for us. Or, dare I say it, at League 1 level...

If Barry Robson is anything to go by, when Davies is found to be too slow and error-prone for the MLS he'll pitch up here in January, disrupting the side.*
