Is he injured again or simply just not making the squad? I'd be surprised if it's the latter but there's been no mention of the former.

Hopefully it is only one minor setback and not one of a long line of setbacks that James Wallace has gone through.

Adkins spoke about it today – minor groin strain just before the U21 game which saw him pull out, nothing serious, Kennedy involved in full training this week.

But if Lee's name does come up then I really want to know. Because everybody loves the TV show.
Number 34, September 89. Great band.
Inspiration behind the song, a drug used by the CIA that smelt of apples that used to be put in apple pies when they want to allegedly get rid of people. When I did A Level Chemistry and asked if we could make some of the said chemical it didn't go down too well.

Is he injured (again) or does he have sufficiently severe medical issues that he's going to struggle ever to be a reliable first choice professional footballer? I hope it's just the former, but I fear it's the latter. Anyone know the inside story?

??? o_O

I always feel Uniteds a better team with Kennedy it, sadly with his ongoing injury concerns I think Terry's days as a professional footballer are numbered, cruel but that's football!

Kennedy and James Wallace, luxuries we can't afford. Taking valuable wages and never ever going to play in a succession of games. Pay them off. We need consistently fit players, not crocks.

Kennedy by The Wedding Present was about JFK. There was obviously the rumour about Monroe and Kennedy. David Gedge leader of The Weddoes had heard about how the CIA had got rid of people shall we say through the use of a drug/chemical that had the smell of apples and was put in apple pies.
It was the first single from the Bizarro album on RCA.
The quote about the CIA is in the book 'Thank yer, very glad' a book abut the band.
There is a Blades link to the band too. My mate used to drum with them during a period of them having two drummers. He used to sit on the Kop with us.

Glad you made that crystal clear, thanks :)

More tenuously I used to work with someone who knew Hitch(?) who designed a couple of the album covers. Seamonsters was one.

A defensive partnership of Edgar and Kennedy would be great. It's just a case of keeping him fit but like others have said anymore injuries and his career could be over.

...would your pal happen to be a one time member of Blammo/Speedy?

From what I ve heard Kennedy's knees are shot and like Ledley King he can't train properly. At his age it's a crying shame but it sounds like he's unlikely to ever be fully fit
