Now Khans with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom I'm tempted to say it's nailed on

Barring something unforeseen I think this is going to happen.
Kell wants it, the public want it and Khan wants the money... :)

As i saying like listening to 5 live podcast Of course want to shut Khan up quick as after 4 excuses. Including going into the jungle but Steve bunce made a good point about waiting a bit trying to get kell a world title before having them 2 together

Then get him at bramall lane 2019, banish those demons hopefully by 2019 Khan ran out of excuses by then

Thinking of bobbing down to the Arena later, it's nowhere near a sell out so tickets outside should be cheaper.

Don't get me on our game being postponed, as far as i'm concerned if the pitch is playable it's on. If certain fans feel worried about attending (and I bet the weather will put a very small % off, if any), don't go easy. I've been to work all week, got off my estate fairly easily, Handsworth Road, Parkway, M1, M18 all fine, even been this morning and no problem whatsoever. It's nannying state gone f***ing bonkers.
Yeah brexit us to blame for our game being off
Bloody foreigners

You'll find it was most probably a different substance being the issue.
More than likely Foxy. There was a mid 20s gobshite in front of us who just couldn’t sit still and fancied taking on the world. He was 6ft but 8st wet through and was constantly disappearing and could barely focus on anything in the ring. Guess I’m old school now at 50 where a good session down the pub is classed as steady night out. Not anymore!

Thought Kell looked good,i also thought Rabchenko would have lasted longer...he's no mug,but once Kell got his range and started landing...only one winner.

Good win for Kid Galahad aswell...probably one fight away from a really big fight now...always rated him.

He’s had to do it the hard way with a few setbacks but at 28 he’s fast approaching crunch time. Deserves a crack for me

On the nannying front, walked from Attercliffe Common to the Arena, the wind was a bit icy cold at times but survived it! Got a £40 ticket off a tout, who wanted £60 to start with for £25 (for 4/5 minutes of boxing still seems steep, but that's the chance you take). Then walked the return 2 mile journey home, through Greenland and UP Handsworth Hill without any mishaps. Finished the night off unscathed with a ten minute walk home from the Old Crown in the snow.

I'm now in the process of composing a letter to the powers that be about postponing a game 40+ hours before kick off, against a team 45 minute down the road. Given how easily accessible roads, paths and under soil heated pitches were by noon today something stinks in all this.
I reckon it was called off so early to save match day costs by cancelling things such as cost of printing programmes, catering facilities, stewards, police etc etc.

In the event it proved to be a ridiculous decision.

I think Khans waiting to use it as his last big payday knowing that Kell will finish his career once and for all. It’s game over for the loser and Khans always been running scared regardless of the drivel he’s spouted in the past. Issues around the weight etc won’t be a problem for either of the purse is big enough which it should be. The purse split could be the problem. Khan has always thought he’s bigger & better than he actually is.
Brook is and always has been totally wrong for Khan. He’s movement is good, he’s not static and vulnerable to his quick combinations, and he carries his power with some brilliant shots.
Genuinely think it would last 4 rounds against Khan once Kel is confident he can take the shots, set his feet and throw back.

I think the top fighters have dodged him a bit to be honest...he's not really had a big fight, but there's plenty of big fights to be made at his weight.

Meanwhile Tyson Fury runs up a hill with a log and some jizz on his joggers.

He can't be that computer savvy...he wanted to know how to get on this forum...I said he'd have to log in.

Apologies

Rabchenko was a carefully selected safe opponent, as reflected in the pre-fight odds. He was never going to trouble Kell.

Kell’s facial bone structure is as strong as ever, thanks (ironically) to the assistance of Errol Spence equalising the imbalance of metal. The only thing the camp were worried about is whether he still has the confidence to take a big shot. We still don’t know...

Anyone who payed out to see that, expecting a competitive fight, ought to have asked me first...

Spot on, i just didn’t get why they didn’t put on a better undercard. It was shit. Mcdonnell fight was the best of the night. Saw alot of empty seats again.

Good job we've got the experts on here to look to in future, and I can ignore what type of fight a couple of his corner were predicting privately. Not least the non Sky pundits who had no need to hype the fight up.

Bit of a vicious circle. No pay per view dosh means a weak undercard means no pay per view dosh.

That said, I’ve had some great nights courtesy of Dennis Hobson watching local lads at the DVS.

I know exactly what the camp were expecting privately. Whatever you may think of my football wisdom, I am both an expert and ITK on boxing. I have an international promoter, a legal adviser to a local camp and a world champion in my contacts list. If that causes you angst and resentment, I’m sorry. Others, however, may appreciate my insight.

Nothing you post ever causes me angst but some of us also know people in the pro game and from the Ingle camp.

They certainly weren't all predicting a 2nd round stoppage no matter how much they still expected him to win.

I agree in part in that he looked right for Kell based on what we've seen, but he was a live opponent none the less, and I've never looked at Boxing odds as a view to a fight. Too many casual fans, and I don't mean that to be as patronising as it sounds, will have a flutter on a fight and load up on their local hero. There's been plenty of times whereby a really promising fighter has come over here against a local hero and despite being a heavy underdog on the betting has won easily.

Agree with your points about his face and how he will react when he get hurt, but this fight was just to ease him into the 154 division, and he looks solid at the weight.

No they were not. Quite why you choose to condescendingly and sarcastically label me an ‘expert’ (and it was me you were targeting) is another matter. I’ve been following the fight game for a long time and know what I’m on about. Just as I do football, despite your customary antagonism.

Precisely so Bob. I’m anything but a casual fan, so I don’t feel patronised. :)

IRONY ALARM.

Please leave the building. This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill.
