Allegedly trained with us today released by Brum end of last season so will know King.

Thoughts?

Possible signing?

I see exactly what you're saying Toronto, however when the only player in the midfield with any experience is Michael Doyle, he'd be a welcome addition

Would be a decent signing I think.

Although he has signed a few players already but can he actually make them gel together?

Could be a good pick, scores a few goals if I am remembering the right guy and was playing for ROI until a few years ago

He would be number 12 of Weir's signings ,all to buy a win.
Are we sure that the problem is the players and not the rookie leading them.

Number 13 actually. He would be the 5th central midfielder he's signed.

A issue he has is that the midfield players he has signed at this level should be very good, however everyone of them has come into a losing team with no confidence and a team with no leaders, consequently they have suffered along with us. Get a true leader in the team, and the one win we need, and then I truly believe that it will come good.

Thought we needed width, pace and creativity not yet another steady, short passing, slow and boring centre mid.
Fahey did used to burst forward on the odd occasion but if he was any good he would have still been at Brum given their poor state and the loss of all their up and coming exciting youngsters like Redmond and Mutch.

I guess the plan is to bore the pants off the opposition so they trip up over the jock straps and fall over, thereby creating a chance for us to take a pop at goal........

.... which, of course, we will fluff.

Is he that type of player then?

If we're sticking with the 4-2-3-1 then we don't need any more pacy front players that's for certain.

I'd be happy with Fahey if it meant that either Cuvelier was released further forward or Doyle was dropped.

I'm guessing the latter!

Let the new manager bring the next players, but please be quick about it

Just signed for Irish champions St Patricks Athletic , could have signed elsewere for more money but decided to return home and sign for pats , so he says , will be a return to his former club as he played for them before earlier in his playing career , Irish season starts up early next year and there in the qualifiers for the champions league .
