Keith Edwards has definitely left radio Sheffield for a commercial station.

Although I enjoyed watching him play for the Blades (saw most of his games for us) he didn't half annoy me on the occasions I did hear him on the wireless.

His obvious dislike of the manager and certain players did not make for good commentary. Surely it's about the game in front of you??

But what do I know!

:D :D :D

Yeah i wondered where he went although to be hounest i didnt mind his commentry though.

I thought he was an excellent commentater person, gave his true opinions about what he felt.

Some blades want to hear that everything is rosy, keith said it as he saw it and was usually spot on IMO.

Legend, just because the BU bummers dont like him doesnt mean he was a negative nancy.

Although i do agree his slagging of players such as Ifill and Nuddy was out of order at times.

I quite liked him too, was alright.

Wonder which ex-player they will get in now to commentate?

I vote giving Tony Agana a try :)

He always has time for Blades fans and is still involved in the background of the club.

Surely he has a more insightful perspective than someone who commentated with his own agenda?

yeah from speaking to Currie and seeing him at matches/soccer schools, I wouldn't say he really fits the bill.

I'd go for either current players who arent in the squad that day, or someone like Agana/Whitehouse.

Doesn't Agana currently work for the club tho? Does something with commercial guests etc I believe

He was at one stage yeah.

Still does as far as I know.

Saw him suited up in the Tunnel Bar after the Portsmouth match.

TC seems a nice bloke, but I don't think he would make a very goo dradio summariser. Can't think of anyone who would be ok at the moment.

He was when we played Leeds last season.

Some mates of mine were in executive box and Agana was in there doing something.

Tony Agana was in the Fernhurst at Blackburn posing for pics with fans etc....

:)

He was on Saturday too

Were you there for your free pint?
We went in but the place was rammed, went to the Barrel instead to see if they had Carling of merchantable quality for a change. It was full of Spurs fans!
