Something i've noticed with our current 1st team, is that they start at premier league clubs as fringe/youth players, leave and then ply their trade in lower leagues before their ascendency back to EPL football:

John Egan - Sunderland 2011-12,
Basham - Bolton/Blackpool 2006-11,
Lundstram - Everton 2012-15,
Norwood - Man Utd 2009-12,
Enda Stevens - Villa 2012-15

It seems with Egan/Bash - the club experiences relatively momentary success and discard the players on loan or transfer as they don't match their current ambitions - ask those clubs now and they'd snap our hand off.

Now here's the question: out of our current fringe/youth players in our moment of success (lets face it - something we might not experience again for a long time) - who would you be keeping for the long-term, who does not seem all that important to us right now? and why?

Looks good to me but will CW play 3412 even in the Championship?

McBurnie I'd stick in there.

Not seen enough of Bryan to say.

For my two cents on this - in terms of our fringe players who aren't 1st team stalwarts.. i'm gonna stick my neck out and say Bryan will go on to be an EPL player, RND will be a firm fixture for Wales and EPL/Championship until retirement, and Tyler Smith will be a top Championship striker

I must admit I thought about Bryan who I have to say has impressed me this season. I didn't think of McBurnie, I always consider him older. Suppose at 24 we could see his best years

Osborn has a role to play going forward he’s attitude and work rate is top notch, he’s versatile and by all accounts a model pro so there should always be a place for that kind of player. Burke is worth keeping to see if we can improve his flaws and make him into a true 9. Then there’s a whole host of younger lads who might have something but time will tell.

If Bryan can get and remain fully fit, he could be useful. He's a great crosser, much better Stevens and Osbourne potentially, maybe a poor man's JOC in waiting.
Re McBurnie, perhaps a full season back at that level will work out well for both parties. I don't blame him for our change in style when he's on the pitch and I'm keen to see his development continue next season. The irony of course, is that should he do well, we may struggle to hang on to him, if we're not going to get promoted. Let's hope half of that materialises at least!

Best McBurnie has looked for a while was against WBA. That's because we weren't lumping it aimlessly to him. He was being used as a link-up man - that's his game

Not sure, one was definitely left handed though.....
