I’ve never been a keeper, but the 2 goals we’ve conceded this week have both come from Deano saving the ball and pushing it straight out forwards.

Are these mistakes, or when things happen that quickly is it impossible to push it sideways?

Irrespective of those 2 saves, he made other superb saves in both games to keep us in them - so his account is well in credit.

I think the issue is more likely how slow we are to react as opposed to blaming the GK...

Same as Wednesday night that we seemed very flat footed...

Deano did well today but he's no Alan Kelly.

I don't blame him for either of the goals we have conceded this week.

I do however blame him for the save before the cross that lead to the panalty not being pushed behind and instead being pushed to Millwall's left wing. That should have been pushed behind so we could regroup.

Agreed. For the goal he couldn’t do a lot, did well to keep the initial header out. For the one before the pen, he should have dealt with it better.
