Why do we need Lee when we have a young goalkeeper in long who is improving all the time.we also have two young goalkeepers coming through and Ramsdale will be pushing long for the Jersey and he is still 17.we have areas which need strengthening but goalie is not one
( in my opinion of course)

I take your point if you think Long's good enough as no.1 and Ramsdale is good enough to step in if owt happens to Long?

I dunno much about Ramsdale other than he's highly rated...

Lee ( IMO) would be one of those proven L1 players who would strengthen the squad...given Long's current form, it's not a priority, as you say...

I bet Lee made plenty when he was in his early 20's

He may have but wasn't playing for Sheffield United .

Would like to see the bloke at the Lane.

All down to fans opinions , and at the end of the day what Adkins decides and what budget the bloke has.

Adkins may decide Long is the main man between the posts.

Not bothered about Lee at all, never have been, too small.
If we are going to get someone to compete with Long next year I'd be going for Fielding at Bristol

Tommy Lee apart from his clearance error yesterday made a couple of excellent reaction saves where I thought the goal was nailed on. He seems a fans favourite at Chessie.

However at 30 years old and well over 400 appearances he has never played outside league 1 and 2 which goes against him being the top keeper that some suggest. Just an observation.

Would have agreed with you 100% until this season were Jamie Vardy and Leicester have torn the rule book up.
