3 points, one game at a time, "lets smash the...."

we move on , whats happened , is gone

hes not one of our players
might be the odd gesture from some tomorrow
only to be expected, he was a hero to many , for the right reasons scoring lots of goals
was wrongly convicted by a zealous CPS system looking for a high profile conviction
it robbed us of playing him in 3 vital games,

bitter , no point now cant change it
lets move on with what players weve got

Banning orders for signing his name. He's the victim remember.

Why should it have any effect on the current squad at all?

It is absolutely nothing to do with Sheffield United whatsoever.

This post is dedicated to all the members on here who suffer with a hearing issue.
No discrimination on S2.
Deaf people have feelings too, unless they were involved in a RTA and are left paralysed from the neck down.

This is a true favourite of mine.
Everybody can join in, I don't mind.

"It was the uniform worn by my father years ago
When he reached me mother's homestead on the run
It was the uniform he wore in that little church below
When 'oul father mac, he blessed the pair as one..."

Oh Grace just hold me in your arms & let the moment linger
They'll take me out at dawn and I will die .
With all my love I place this wedding ring upon your finger
There won't be time to share our love for we must say goodbye .

Whatever the result of the trial today, it has proven beyond doubt, just by looking at Twitter, that there's a hefty minority of our fans that are absolute knuckle dragging fuckwits.

And this will be backed up by the chants I expect to hear tomorrow.

The worst part of this entire thing for me has been how badly some of our fans have reacted to it.

Really shown the decent majority up.

Now I really agree with you, but the behaviour of the likes of Hatchett (whatever her real name) following the trial would infuriate even some of us reasonable men.

The right verdict was made today but Snowman and PeteBlade are both right. The whole affair has been sordid from start to finish for all involved.

Ched being a sneaky, sleazy and ultimately irresponsible git. The 'victim' who clearly has form with regard to getting plastered, having casual sex and forgetting all about it. The Police and CPS who smelt blood and couldn't resist nailing an innocent man to the wall and last but not least the media/twitter trolls and utter pond life on both sides.

It's been a race to the very bottom from day one.

Well summed up stretch.

There are a couple of other organisations who I feel are hugely responsible for the outcry that was caused at the time, I shan't use specifics but they are both media outlets, one local who couldn't wait to pour abuse on our club simply because we support a different football club to the one they want to bolster. This pales into almost nothingness when compared to a national organisation who used this as a shield to deflect away from the wrong doing within it's own walls it had hidden for decades and was out at the same time.

Finally we can get back to proper football again this weekend. International break and the Ched Saga all over, we can start talking Blades and football again.

For the first time in a long time I’m actually looking forward to listening to today’s game as I sit here at work, as well as giving me a break from the monotony of a work rotation, I have started to become more optimistic based on the Wilder approach.

So perhaps yes, we can talk of a promotion push, at least until the full time whistle today, when no doubt any optimism will have drained away…

I think there's some high horses with no people on and some moral high ground that's now empty but that said I'd have no problem with anyone chanting for Ched Evans but don't see how it will help at this stage.

People were moaning on here the lane was like a library the other week maybe all those who are on here moaning about chants that haven't yet been sung could drown them out with chants they'd like to hear?

Its been a debacle of epic proportions.poor judgement by ched .the girl the police the CPS and certain journalists. The courts look in a bad light when in fact they were given a case that should never have started. Thank the Lord its at an end
Well theres reasonable doubt about there being a Lord.

I'd much rather people chant for Billy Sharp or Matty Done. Like it or not, Ched plays for a different team now. We need to get behind the lads currently at the Lane, we won't change the past by chanting Cheds name.

True but we may just influence the future.

True but we may just influence the future.

We'll influence it more by getting behind the lads currently at the club and trying to get promotion. If Ched comes back in January or the summer that's fine by me, but he plays for Chesterfield now. I don't see how chanting his name is going to help inspire Billy or Done.

Big game today....lets smash the bastaaaaaaardsss! Spot on with the OP

Totally agree about the local coverage mate. I will call out names, both RS and the Stir need to take a long hard look at themselves and consider their positioning as 'unbiased' media outlets. More specifically Toby Foster and James Mitchinson overstepped the mark with their own commentary and tried to drive the narrative of 'nasty United' who endorse the abuse of women and woe betide anyone who tries to defend them, the player or question the verdict. Staton and Buchan also have a lot of questions to answer as far as I am concerned. Listening to Staton being questioned by a Blade caller last night, squirming and trying to re-write his own history and deny his shocking handling of Blades callers in the past was almost embarrassing

Bollocks to the lot of em. I really would like to see McCabe call some of these wankers out and tell them all to go and fuck themselves.

If we're inexplicably chanting about Chesterfield players, I'm going to pen a ditty about Ghoby Ariyibi
