Shows the value of giving young players an opportunity in the first team. All credit to SJ and one of the things we hoped for from him. Such a change from his predecessor who would never have picked Lopata, Brunt and the others, even in the Carabao Cup.

I dont think hes ready for Championship football
Would just about be ok as cover, think a loan in L1 would do him good
We really need to sort our defence out and play a three as Robinson and Osbourn are no good in a four at the back

well if were going to go 4 at the back which personally i prefer no we cant play robinson and osborn there we can only do that again playing a lcb and lwb and ive an inkling slav is wanting to play 443

Hes not got the CBs to play four at the back so he had better sign some
There is only Egan out of our CBs that can play in a four
From what Ive seen this season weve looked more comfortable playing a three albeit against lower opposition and the Birmingham game confirmed that to me as well as quite a lot of other problems we have

well obviously we need a left centre back to partner egan in a 4 and that could well be ben davies just think slavs preference is for pacey wide players rather than wing backs and even when we play with wing backs we dont put enough crosses in to the box

I went last night, and this lad really impressed. Good in the air, seemed composed on the ball and a few decent passes out to the wide men. I would definitely give him a chance in 1st team mate

I know he's not a favourite here, but where did Kean Bryan go after rejecting the contract offer? I would have been fine with him at LCB in a three at this level.

I’m not sure if anyone else saw but my favourite part about his performance is when he proper had a go at bash when bash lost possession with a stupid pass. Looks a leader

I dont think Slavs back 3 are as attack focussed. more of a rigid back 3

i think slav will go to a back 4 if he can get davies in to partner egan and bring viera in as the defensive midfielder sat in front of them lb is the real problem 4 players for 1 spot and no outstanding candidate for the role permanently 1 maybe 2 are likely to be loaned out i think
