From BM:

Doyle's Thoughts On Clough

Doyle apparently with some Blades today, had several things to say about Clough.

Taken from Twitter:

"Confirmed majority of rumours that have done the rounds about him!

Also that they DIDNT practice set pieces in training!

The treatment towards Doyle was disgusting- he found out he'd been released at supporters club dinner when mal brannigan asked him what his plans were for next season and he didn't have a clue what he was talking about.

And the way he found out he wasn't playing in away matches was when clough walked down the bus and said to him that he may as well just stay on here because he wouldn't be involved in the game.

Also told of his treatment of the youngsters.

Apparently behind the scenes morgs is hardly involved and if he could clough wouldn't have had him there at all.

The stuff that Doyle said really has sounded like clough's a bully boy- the youngsters are terrified of him.

One thing he did say in clough's defence was that coutts is by a mile the best in training.

Another thing that came out was Collins suggested to Diego to leave the club (is that a hint as to the fallout?)

Apparently it was clear he loved sufc, the fans and particularly Morgs.

Whether Doyle exaggerated Idk, but 100% it was said I can guarantee you that much."

Well as Clough has gone, it doesn't really matter. I have heard a few stories but you have to pick which one might suit considering the above. Is this how Kennedy got shot on the grassy knoll or just a reason we didn't have any cb's all fucking season.

1. Clough fell out with Collins and Butler at the training ground. This was after Maguire was told to leave by Clough when he was clearing his locker. You don't play here anymore and the two players told Clough it was harsh. Clough then told the 2 players if they don't button it they would be leaving.
2. Butler then fell out with Morgan and it came to blows.
3. Collins advised Diego like you said to try somewhere new.

I wasn't sure whether to believe it, however maybe it's believable

The information from BM may well be correct.

To be fair to Clough he is a strict disciplinarian to the highest order , but very loyal to staff and players who abide by his rules and standards.

He may be right about Morgan , as what does he actually do. IMO he is still lucky , not to have been part of the cull , but we would have been left with no one , with real football knowledge , if he was part of the sacked back room staff .

Diego has been badly advised by all parties , but we are not talking about a young Rooney or Beckham . He is still a unknown quantity , although i personally would like him to stay at the lane.

Clough unfortunately operates in a different time and era , when it comes to senior and young pros. With his bizarre tactics , and man management , he got himself the sack , and not helped himself. A lot may well be down to the time he has spent as a youngster around football clubs with his father , and bases his management in the same way , which is now outdated.

With regards Doyle , theres many on here who have called him from a pig to a dog.

The new manager ( if the right man) , will reap the benefits from the work , and squad that Clough has assembled , with no real wholesale changes needed , just some minor tweaks ( which we all know whats required ).

If we are going to play high tempo , passing , forward moving football , the Desso pitch will also benefit us , which was signed up , under the Clough watch.

Clough has gone for a number of reasons , but IMO he does not deserve , a character assassination , especially by Doyle or any other player , or fans.

While the above may be true, I heard it was Doyle and Butler who had a bust up on the training pitch, maybe we will find out one day.

There's no chance anyone has seem them at the lane. If I was working there and saw Adkins walk in then I would be straight on the phone to the bookies and putting my wages on him to appointed.
Maybe he just had a drive to the ground to see how long his commute would take... I've done that before.

And just to clarify I'm a very different Max!

I was at the beach at Pilar de la Horadada when I overheard Jim Phipps hairdresser who arrived here yesterday , and heard him say to his mate at the bar Phipps said we were having a meeting with Robinson, his mate was a dons fan
105% true as everyone lets stuff slip when having a trim
he also bought a pack of 3 condoms saying his beard was a babe magnet

JL94x4 and Maxtertheblade separated at birth by any chance.........has anyone ever seen them on line at the same time.........very similar style if posting bollocks to seek attention anyway........LOOK AT ME.....LOOK AT ME

My head shake isn't at the youngster. It's aimed at those who actually take it seriously! I suspect Foxy is the same!

Believe me though, there'll come a time when you and everyone else have had enough of Max - he's relentless!
Don't shake your head at me Pinchy . ;):):D

self included.. BUT
whether it's true or not .. i still maintain that the treatment of Doyle was absolutely shocking and i am genuinely embarrassed .. i didn't particularly rate the guy but he bled red and white and was the club captain.. this was the point i turned on Clough..

He's on his holiday's till the 24th of June according to this..currently in Brussels I believe...

<< Earlier in the month however Karl Robinson outlined his desire to stay at stadiummk after a stellar season.
He said: "We're negotiating and having a conversation and I go away on holiday and I'm not back until June 24 so I'm not going to any football club.
"So if people say they've seen me anywhere, it's not true.
"That is exactly where it's at and my agent wants me to stay here, I want to stay here and I know the chairman wants me to stay here so we just have to get everything right." >>

Also adds:-

<< But there may be some time before that contract is signed because he says he wants to get contracts with player and staff sorted out first.
"The players have to come first, then it's the staff and then it'll be me and then we grow together once again if we can agree it.
"Me and the chairman want to be working together next year.">>
