I've seen him play a couple of times, and he's looked decent enough. Plus, 48 caps for Finland is pretty decent going with the likes of Hyypia and Pasanen competing for centre half so he can't be bad.

Fathi was and is a very good player, there aren't many Sheffield United players who have achieved as much as him.

lets face it there are only 2 types of loan player available....the over 30 premiership reserves and the 19-21 yr old premiership potential starlets.

for some reason we seem able to attract the over 30s but not the youngsters. you only have to look at Watford and QPR amongst others to see how well the young uns can do.

I wonder why we can't attract them? style of football? can't really imagine Wenger and Ferguson falling over themselves to send youth team players to us can you?

A make do and mend, sticking plaster approach to creating a team is highly unlikely to get us anywhere as it isn't really creating a team.
If we end up changing manager the new guy's going to end up with a complete mish mash to work with.
It's hard for the fans to remember who plays for us these days, I wonder if it's the same for the players.
