:nono: Let's hope this is one game that's off on Sat then ......he might use the iffy conditions to up his tally to 9 yellows in a game this season .....and I wouldn't put it past him to invent a reason to red card lonely Ched Evans . He's got to be the most inept football referee in the game today .

On the plus side, there should still be plenty of snow laying around should he get too close and you wish to protest about a decision ;)

I'm starting to stockpile the stuff outside in our freezer now i've seen the bloody appointment!

When have we had him before? 'scuse my ignorance

We've had him a few times, with me it's not particularly his matches in charge of us, it's just his general performance all round.

Dingles I know absolutely despise him with a passion like no other... it would have been interesting if he'd got that one!

Its true, they phone up RS and complain about him fairly frequently. I remember a couple of games where we've had him, as Linz said.....utter bobbins.

Didn't he have to retire injured in his last outing at the Lane. A decision that pleased both sets of fans equally.

He is as bad a referee as we have in the game at the moment but in a completely incompetant way rather than a cheating little runt (i.e. Mike Dean) way.

Yes, I think that was him.

I am sure he was the ref at Reading a few years ago (promotion season) and he was shocking.

I think you are right. He (or whom it now was) should have sent Kenny off..It was a great day out though despite the loss, still remember the great Kabba goal :) oh how times change...he's getting is salary from amateur football now right?

Nope it was Grant Hegley after checking :)

No, it was Grant Hegley.

And he was correct in not sending Kenny off, because he handled the ball outside the area from a back pass from Monty, who was the nearest player when the handball occurred, thus he was NOT denying a clear goalscoring opportunity. However how he failed not to give a penalty when Keef was nearly decapitated with the score at 1-1 remains a mystery.

So it doesn't matter that the ball surely would have gone in?

Whenever I have complained about the refs this season my 8 year old has said 'It could be worse it could be Kettle', I think he is the the ref who comes in for most criticism from fans. I have heard Rotherham fans complain on Radio Sheff as well as the Dingles, plus fans of various clubs nationwide on 606. If the fans see he is shit why can't the authorities?

No. my recollection is that it would have gone out for a goal kick.

I mean corner kick!

I still say it should have been a red card. It is a goal scoring opportunity, he handles outside the box. Anyone else with an opinion?
