Just in case you are all missing him lol

I would keep DCL when his loan expires on Jan 4th. He has scored quite a few headers. We need a striker who is good in the air. Sammon's timing of headers is poor
I think he definitely deserves a chance.

Just seen Mcnulty is playing for Pompey in the cup.

He is still our player and IF he comes back in January he is now cup tied.

Appreciate some want him sold - but he isn't now - stupid decision.

Makes you actually think the decision to sell has already been made?

UTB

He will be gone. Slowly but surely I think Adkins is changing the culture at the club and the socialisers are on their way out. I didn't realise, but I was told the other day that Kennedy likes potting a lot too, so I am no longer surprised about his loan move.

Interesting if we draw Pompey in the next round ;)

I did think this too. As a physio Adkins knows all about the sports science side and some of his past players have said he had them as fit and healthy as they have ever been.

It wouldn't suprise me if he is trying to change the culture and fair play if so.

Some odd reactions on here and BM. McNulty is classed as lazy, wears his jumper over his shoulder, sucks lollipops and has some knobs for mates and should be driven out of town, while Baxter, also classed as lazy and socialises just as much allegedly glasses someone and some want it swept under the carpet and is a must keep.

Who needs natural born finishes in the side eh.

What we need are players who behave superbly, tidy up after themselves but are shite on the pitch, that's what we really need, fuck goal scorers.

Potting? What the fuck does that mean?! He gets stoned? Likes gardening? Good at snooker??

I think about 95 % want baxter out too

McNulty is like just another clone of Keith Edwards or Jan Aage Fjortoft.

If you want someone to run the channels all day then forget it, but if you want someone to get on the scoresheet every other week then he is your man.

If we sell him to Pompey he will score the goals that not only get them out of League 2 but also fire them straight through League 1 as well.

I don't give a fuck if he has got a few daft mates who come down to see him from Scotland and have a night out, he is 22 and living away from his hometown, is he expected not to have a social life, would it even matter if we had a manager who has the bollocks to give him a run in the side and he was scoring every week for us like he probably would if given the chance?

Football is different to what it was in Keith Edwards's day. We need players to get us promotion and McNulty is definitely not one of them. Having him in the side is like playing with 10 men. He isnt quick enough, isnt strong enough and not good in the air

If Mcnulty goes permanently we will regret it.

He may have problems, but he is a natural born finisher. Just because he needs sorting out is no reason to get rid. This is where a good manager gets hold of a player and "knows" what to do. Keep him and sort him out Adkins.

UTB

Good points . It is easy to forget that McNulty in the overall scheme of things is still raw and young , and is a asset already on the books .

We do need a clear out of players brought together from differant managers , which no doubt will happen.

Blame the players for the mess we are in , but truth be known , Adkins has not had the impact , himself , board , and fans thought he would have .

I am not in to sacking managers , but Adkins has to start earning his money , and give us back , some form of identity .

Best man for the job - Yes . Happy with him - No.

UTB.

How many players do we have who you would want the ball to fall to inside the penalty area?

If McNulty plays then we wont create many chances. If he doesnt play then we will create more chances. That is the modern way of football!

Does it mater?

He's currently playing in the fourth division and might get into a third division team occasionally if he returns.

He was our leading scorer last season and 23 of his 43 appearances were off the bench. Can't understand why anyone would want rid of him.

Apart from Brayford I can't understand why anyone wants any of the fuckers to hang around.

Who do you mean your last sentence describes Sharp perfectly

I have said so many times in here that I dont rate Sharp as a striker to get us up. He does a lot more work for the team than McNulty ever did. I dont rate sharp but he is better than McNulty

So 13 goals in 20 starts + 23 sub appearances is shit then is it?
