In a financially rigged football world full of cynical average players making undeserved fortunes , just to have someone who loves your club as much as you do is so fortunate.
The fact that he leads by example in the way he keeps fit , puts the hard yards in and scores goals that none of the other players could ... is a bonus that fans of other clubs could only dream of having.

Its what we didn't know that makes the Slav appointment daft - a man who needs to spend £ to change the squad to his style.
The club knew exactly how strapped its finances were , we didn't.
And if the club didn't , it's run by bigger amateurs than I first suspected
