Just on Sky. Glynn Hodges direct free-kick against 'W'don in Aug 2006 was the second goal in Prem history to be scored direct. Barton pipped him to the title, scoring against us in the same game!

What do you mean scored direct? Direct free kick? Not a chance in hell that the second goal from a direct free kick came in 2006. Besides, I don't think Glynn Hodges played for us against Wimbledon in the Premiership in 2006.......

I think he means the 2-2 draw v Wimbedon on 25/8/92. Hodges did indeed score in that game.

I figured he meant 92 considering that was the first season of the Prem.

Some typo though to get 2006 instead of 1992!
