Pinchy's having kittens because Morgan has proved 5 minutes of prep, none of your own resource and a bit of common sense can trounce a pointless passing for the sake of it game.

So, maybe it's not that simple.

I can feel another straw man approaching.......

I almost got a half admission out of him that Morgan was a better manager than Weir. I have had it framed.

Actually if we count the play off games as league games, both Morgan and Weir have had 10 league games as manager.

Morgan P10 W3 D3 L4 pts 12
Weir P10 W1 D2 L7 pts 5

In other words Morgan is a mediocre third tier manager and Weir is a terrible one.

And Weir's silky smooth passing team stroked the ball into the net 6 times whereas Morgan's cloggers have hoofed the ball into the net 9 times.

Morgan's matches have been against much tougher opposition too.

Any idea what the ethos was like at Notts County when he took them into the premier league?

Similar to what he was at Udders and at SUFC. Notts County have never played in the Premier League as they were relegated from the top flight in the season before the PL started

On both occasions Morgan's managed, he's had to step in at the last minute, no pre season, none of his own players - it's actually unfair to write him off as a manager.

We shouldn't got there, for the same reasons we've had our fingers burned with rookie 6% Davey. But he might end up being a good manager somewhere.
