We are just a step on the ladder for young players aiming to play at the top of the game and Clough seems to be proud of it. I'm not totally against it, but it is a shame that the solution tonight was Holt who was only supposed to start first team games next season and clearly isn't ready and Reed who hasn't been the same since the spurs game. Players come straight into the first team and are given a proper go there before we finally realise they aren't ready for it. Other examples through the season include Alcock, Flo, Mcgaey and Che Adams. Nobodies to first teamers and then out the team/squad and we are the ones who suffer for it!

Mceverly can't pass at all. Gave it away so much both tonight and at Rochdale.

It's called development. One thing Is for certain is that clough knows much more about developing Young players than you or I.

You Talk about development then slip that bit in at the last. One thing is for certain he was not the worst passer in either of those games and you decide to have a go. He may not be Maguire or even Collins but he certainly does not play as many long ball as either of those two and most of those long balls came to nothing.
