Went to see Lincoln v Exeter today. He was playing wide right first half and didn’t really get a look in. Played a bit more centrally second half and did have a half chance that was well saved and put in a couple of dangerous crosses.
Overall he’s a decent size and while not lightning fast has a reasonable turn of pace. Probably not the best game to see him in as it was a tight affair with defences on top. Doesn’t look a PL quality player as yet and looks to have a way to go to be top end championship albeit I’ve only seen him once so that might be unfair.

Other clubs might be making 'good moves' but many are signing totally unknown quantities. Players that our fans are only bothered about because they've been mentioned as suggestions by other fans on here or because theyve got a decent score on Fifa. Most probably aren't even on our radar.

The transfer window doesn't shut for a month yet and its like every window our fans seem to go into meltdown because we're not signing the numbers that other clubs are early doors. I'd say that's what's getting a bit daft.

I bet if you ask most Norwich fans they'll be pissed off cos theyve sold Rowe and Sainz and likely guna sell Josh Sargent and replaced them with total nobodies and Harry Darling, yet our fans think they've done amazing business.

We've sold Souza and are getting in Soumare plus brought in Barry who most of this league would have loved to have got. Selles said when he arrived he wanted quality, not quantity so can we chill the fuck out and wait till at least after the window shuts?

Where is the lack of ambition with that line up?

To replace any of these players would cost substantial fees and they don't need replacing until we get promoted. Replacing them now would be replacing them for the sake of it and an outlet of money that counts as a loss towards FFP.

It's not about lack of ambition, it's about signing what we need. We need back up, not starters unless Barry, Soumare and Bindon can't hack the Championship. We'll know that before the end of the window and that can be addressed then.

Birmingham have spent more money than us? They've got more ambition than us. Unless our ambition is to remain in the Championship having just been promoted from League One then our ambitions are going to be very different. Of course they're going to splash the cash, they want to stay up. Think about it.

These unreasonable meltdowns are getting beyond pathetic now. They're an over reaction to lack of thought.
