Never liked his Dad either. I remember going in the corporate for my 21st- Windass had been subbed around 80 minutes. Within minutes of the full time whistle he was in the bar and necked 3 pints one after the other in seconds.
Lost his job at Sky Sports cos he got so pissed at a corporate event for Bradford City fans on a Friday at a Morecombe caravan park that he fell asleep on the settee in the bar and missed his assignment at whatever match he was supposed to be at on the Saturday.

To be fair, I doubt he could have helped that. He was an alcoholic and has subsequently sought treatment for it.

Right... But I'm sure you understand that some people become addicted after making an incredibly normal decision of saying YES.

What you're saying is coming across as ignorant.

I don't know much about Dean Windass but he seemed a total dickhead with a very low IQ... However some of his behaviour may be differently explained, or better explained, if he had an addiction (as I've just read in this thread).

Reasons for not signing
Josh signed a 1 year deal last year at the age of 29, he is due to become a free agent and if S6 aren't renewing there has to be a reason
119 appearances for them with 33 goals sounds like a good return but 20 of them came in League 1
He is due to be a Wednesday reject as the old chant goes

Genuinely struggling to find one, he is an AM that can play as a forward, the only thing is that he has going for him is that he would be on a free but it is not a priority position in terms of where he plays. He doesn't offer any height or strength. He is a lower end Championship/League 1 player, will he track back and put in a shift? If we were talking the season of 2015-16 or something similar then my view point might have been different, he was a player with potential going from Accrington to Rangers at that point in his career.
